This app calculates the thermal efficiency of your fired heater using stack flue gas temperature and excess Oxygen in the flue gas.
The thermal efficiency is calculated using the LHV basis of the fuel gas. It is a simplified calculation and you do not need to enter the fuel gas composition. It also indicates the energy savings potential of your heater. You can use it to monitor your heaters and improve their efficiency by reducing flue gas temperature and excess Oxygen needed.
