Snippety improves productivity by providing quick access to your snippets. Create templates from often-used sentences, code fragments, mail templates, test data, or anything you like.
Snippety works flawlessly with every text field! Just press ⌘⇧Space, find your snippet, and hit ↩. You can also define your keywords and paste snippets by typing without opening the app!
You can tell Snippety what to do and it will follow your instructions to generate templates or insert placeholders automatically.

• Snippet Expander support for overlapping keywords. While typing it will give you a short time window to continue instead of resolving immediately the shortest match.
• While using inline placeholders, you will see a window with the list of placeholders. You don't have to memorize them anymore.
• Now you can share snippets with others by creating public links.
• If resolving the snippet takes too long, the window with progress will appear.
• While waiting for the snippet triggered from Snippet Expander, you can cancel the progress by pressing Escape. Useful if AI or a script placeholder is slow.
• Now Snippety has a new icon!
• If you like to keep apps in the Dock, now you can enable showing Snippety there (Appearance settings).
• While using inline placeholders, you can paste values using CMD+V.
• Export & import selected collections or snippets using the context menu (right-click).

Initially, I was super annoyed with the app (well any app that does it) for bugging me to write a review...
I like to spend some time using an app, on my own time, to see how it fits into my workflow, before I leave a review.. Well I spent some time, so I'm updating the review..
The app has become one of the must have tools in my daily workflow. I don't really use it how most folks would, but it is still super helpful.
I use it alot for keeping templates in for when I'm entering data into company Bug Tracker (JIRA.) It helps to keep each entry tidy and following the same outline so its easy to find the information I need.
I spent a while looking for an app, that would not only do text expanding, but also let me input custom text as needed because the expanded text is not always the same. Especially when your filling out bug tickets.
I could accomplish this in Alfred as well, but I wanted an stand-alone app, to keep my work related expansions seperate, and to make it a bit easier to set new ones up, as Alfred can be a bit time consuming sometimes.
As for the developer, he actually takes suggestions on what might help inprove the overall experience with the app. Two of mine made it into this last release, and they are a big help in speeding up my workflow.

I am thrilled to have come across this great App!
Due to privacy concerns I had to stop using another app that offered similar features becuase the other developer started running things through their servers which introduced a security / privacy risk.
When I found Snippety, it was good and met the basic needs, but a little rough around the edges. I sent some initial feedback & to my great surprise and delight not only got a positive reponse to the Feedback, but the Developer integrated the feature request in a future release! He actually made several updates and now I love this App! I have shared it with my team and a number of other colleages! Keep up the great work and I hope you have a lot of success.

Super useful and well designed app
I use this primarily for email templates and when I originally purchased the previous version, it did not allow including images in the template with certain email programs. I asked the developer about this and he said he would implement that in the next version, and he did!
It is now supremely useful as I have one place for all my templates that I can use in any email program (since MOST of them do not support templates in a convenient way). I also use them for SMS replies and any messenging app. Great for a tech support knowledge base.
