Witch Diary 1.1 brings a major inventory upgrade for makers who need to know exactly what happened to every ingredient batch.
Inventory now supports discarding remaining stock while preserving the batch record for audit, faster search through ingredients and stored batches, and clearer links from a specific ingredient batch to the production runs where it was used. It is easier to trace stock from shelf to batch record, spot what is still available, and understand where each serial number went.
This update also adds an optional Mac-only Local API for trusted local tools on the same Mac, including compatible AI assistants and automation apps. With the connection enabled, supported tools can help with AI-assisted formulation, importing existing formulas from sources such as XML spreadsheets, reviewing Research data, and updating supported formula records while Witch Diary is running.
Smaller improvements polish production history, trial production cleanup, formula editing, subscription access, and overall reliability.
