Please don’t use this App if you’re sending money for emergency!! It is a week now, money is not been delivered but funds have been taken out of customers account! Nala says the transaction cannot be cancelled! Dont you know some of us send money for emergency purposes like hospital and medicine bills , school fees, funerals, plane tickets etc??? What are we supposed to do when money is not delivered on time and funds are already taken out of the account? Then we have to wait for a week!!!! This is very frustrating! If Nala knows there is a problem with Airtel, then they must inform the customers in advance so they won’t use the service or carrier. This is very unacceptable and you will Lose a lot of customers for this!!! Be transparent and refund customers money immediately when you cannot deliver!

I recently attempted to use Nala for an international money transfer to South Africa, a service they claim to offer. However, my experience has been frustrating, to say the least. I initiated the transfer 11 days ago, and it has still not gone through. To make matters worse, I’ve reached out to their customer service multiple times, but I’ve received no response or assistance. For a platform that markets itself as efficient and customer-centric, this experience has been highly disappointing. I would strongly advise anyone looking to make timely and reliable payments to South Africa or other African countries to reconsider using Nala until they improve their service and communication. Finally, someone responded to my several messages after 2 weeks of initiating the transaction with comments like…’going forward, do not send messages, we will respond when we get a response from our partner’ another- “I am only trying to help you” as if the staff is not been paid for their work. I am just waiting for my transaction to go through after two weeks so I can delete the app.

My question is why do you need SSN number to verify my account? Why not have other options like ID. Your completion like Sendwave and WorldRemit offers different options for their customers why not offer the same? Identify theft is a real thing and most people are insecure about their SSN so they wouldn’t want to just put in any money transfer organization like yours. All I’m requesting is can you add more options on verifying accounts. NALA offers the best rates out there but most people get turned away when it comes to give out the SSN thinking that this company is scamming. @ Benjamin Fernandes, naomba ufanye mabadiriko hayo. I’m rating Nala a one star if it were possible to rate lower I would they close my account for no reason I live in California my love one lives in Kenya I was using this app to send her money for her monthly expenses everything was working perfectly fine until I tried to send her money today and I got an error message so I clicked on mama Nala to read the messages imagine my surprise when I read after doing a routine review of your account we have decided to close your account smh that’s absolute madness, especially when I was relying on Nala to send my women funds for her survival but thank God I downloaded send wave and I told her to open up a bank account in Kenya so I can send her money via Western Union I’m so disappointed with Nala I did nothing nefarious with my account and they closed it for absolutely no reason that’s not professional, especially when people rely on the app to send money internationally to our family
