Afriex - Money transfer 4+

This app is undoubtedly unique but it still has a long way to go. The rate of account under review and withdrawal failed due to no obvious reasons is really high. Emails sent are barely answered and whenever they reply, it’s always with promises and hardly any solutions given. The fun thing about this app is when it works, it WORKS. The cash-out / withdrawal is very fast with the money available in your bank account within seconds, buying from your bank account and sending to user is also very fast.

In general, I believe things would get better as some some previous challenges have been addressed by the afriex team and I have noticed more and more improvements being made daily.

I have always trusted afriex but not until recently they started acting up. Firstly, you can’t reach them on any number and now as I write this, I tell you their email cannot be found again( I mean when you send an email, you gonna get a response that the email can not be found). How did I know this? I sent money to a friend last year December 2021, my friend called me and said someone disputed the money and that they have to refund the money back to the sender from one microfinance bank in Nigeria. I was like since December 2021 and someone is just disputing the money in September 2022. So I look for the receipt and sent to my friend so he can go fight it in his bank. Now, I sent email to that effect, although someone replied the mail 2 days later but as i replied the email directly from what I received I got the email back saying “ address not found and your message could not deliver “ I have deleted the app tho when they put my account under review. At first they ask for my IF card, now they want me to send my bank statement and last for digit of my debit card. I will rather use other app that sends dollar to dollar instead of them. And I am going to report them. It’s looking shady now.

This app is literally the greatest money transfer app on planet earth (I am not exaggerating at all). This app has solved the global issue of sending money globally. I’ve sent money to Nigeria twice it got to their accounts the moment I clicked on the send button. Do you know how kind bowing my previous statement is? No hassle of picking up physical cash from a bank that possibly could be too far considering the poor transportation system in Nigeria as a whole. God bless the owners and creators of Afriex.
