I had Complete Knee Replacement Surgery 8 weeks ago. My care team was beyond excellent from pre surgery to present. The educational material and supplies presented prior to surgery prepared me well for the physical and mental journey ahead. The nurses, doctors; PT, entire staff, were knowledgeable, informative, patient, caring, attentive, encouraging, and available. My anesthesiologist staff called me a week prior to surgery at 9pm to advise me to go to the ER as my potassium was too low and then checked on me consistently. Dr. Seyler performed an incredible procedure without any complications from pre-surgery to present. He not only prepared me for the journey, but, was friendly and funny! I would not hesitate to put my health in their hands again, if necessary. Thank you all! May God bless you and continue to guide you in helping others.

I was given an appointment with Dr. Commesso and we both realized shortly in that I wasn’t within Dr. Commesso’s area of expertise. Rather than just call it a day and move on, she went out of her way to schedule a test that she knew needed to be conducted, and furthermore secured an appointment for me with the a Dr. in the field I needed ( that included experience with oral reconstruction).She then took time to perform an exam purely to be able to give her medical opinion knowing that her expertise as an ENT would provide some comfort and reassurance during this difficult time.I truly appreciate her time, kindness and compassion.The medical profession and Duke are fortunate to have her.

Including reminders, filling out admittance forms, filing pertinent information, dictation and editing outgoing messages and thoroughly dissecting and helping us to comprehend information. I had an appointment today with Denise pong. I went to urgent care a couple weeks ago and I have a kidney infection. In route to the appointment today we went into a bad accident. We called lay them know that we was about 11:50 minutes behind we got there, and instead of them going on and taking us in the delay more time going back-and-forth. We called. We spoke to a young lady explained our situation. I even had a recorded call the doctor refuse to see me. This is totally unacceptable. I’m suffering from a kidney infection urgent care so I may need to be in the hospital but the primary had to see me and I was treated like trash Duke supposed to be at number one rated hospital Denise pong you don’t have to worry about jobs in care with me. Dr. Carlos was not concerned about my health. You guys are not the reflection of a healthcare facility. If I was not black and some of my health problems is due to neglect of providers at Duke.
