The app doesn’t work, it was discontinued to work for the older models adjustable beds. My bed is about 5 years old, luckily we didn’t lose the remote or this bed would be useless. The new Mattress Firm Elite app doesn’t pair with the older versions of the adjustable bed. Developer doesn’t even read these reviews so I highly doubt there will be a fix.

The app doesn’t work, it was discontinued to work for the older models adjustable beds. My bed is about 5 years old, luckily we didn’t lose the remote or this bed would be useless. The new Mattress Firm Elite app doesn’t pair with the older versions of the adjustable bed. Developer doesn’t even read these reviews so I highly doubt there will be a fix.

So originally I could not connect at all, like most people. My manual had zero info about an app or Bluetooth etc, so it was no help, and then I read reviews here and one guy explained that you need to unplug and then plug back in for the frame to go into pairing mode. Pairing only lasts for a minute or so, and this is when you need to connect. That works and the controls work very nice, buuuuutttt, you can only connect one phone, so your spouse is apparently out of luck. Hope that helps people. Also, not sure if you have to do this anytime the power has gone out, that’s a battle for another day. But clearly mattress firm needs to actually look at these reviews and make a few changes and or instructions for people.

Yes, the app works, or at least it does with my iPhone. I had a small headache when trying to pair the base with my phone, and that was because I was trying to pair it via the phone Bluetooth settings vs. the through the app. Since it wasn’t showing up in the phone’s Bluetooth settings, I decided to check the app settings to see if I was missing anything. The app presented a message to first pair a device and, sure enough, the base was listed right there in the app after I tapped “OK” to acknowledge the message. Now that it’s paired, it works just like the physical remote.

I read the directions that came with my frame and this app works just fine. If your phone doesn’t recognize the bed it’s not in pairing mode. My instructions showed to unplug the bed and replug it back in. When the lights green after like 20 seconds or something like that it’s in pairing mode and it only stays there for a minute. I had the app open and as I plugged in the bed I waited about 5 seconds and just hit the button and it found it to pair. Works like a charm. The box needs to show the correct words on it also.
