Developers,The old deprecated and deactivated Platt App that is no longer available nor usable if previously installed, has a much more efficient search function, returns items based upon trade lingo more reliably, and remembered your search results when you pressed back arrow after reviewing details of the product, and realized what you looked at did not quite meet your needs. You need to re-input your search parameters and start over.This forced "update" to use your new app is a major nuisance to me and my co-workers.Have had to call the local Platt store to find what I am looking for, removing the benefit of the app alleviating the stores of being on the phone answering questions and taking orders.The downgrade also fails to remember my credentials everytime I use it. I build an order, go to my cart,review and ensure that is what I need, click proceed to checkout,and am greeted with a sign in page. I sign in, and nothing is in my cart. It is forgotten post sign in. Thank you for this excellent level of downgrade and frustration you have forced upon me, and making me build my orders twice.Please reactivate the other app and allow us to use it, or make this one more functional at its minimal level.The only consistentcy I can rate at a high star rating is the agitation and frustration it produces.I don't think that is the intended aspect you want to be highly rated for.
Hello Mathieu Dunyei,We have made several improvements around the time you submitted this. One of the large feature pushes was to improve our search functionality and trade lingo searching. This has been implemented.We have also corrected the filter issue when using the back arrow, it will now save your search phrase and applied filters.Sign-in issues have also been corrected and the need to sign in every day is now gone, and your credentials will be savedCarts are also saved as well now between logout and login so you should not lose your cart if accidentally signed our or the app closes/etc.Please update the app to the newest version on the Apple Play store to apply these fixes.If you have any additional feedback that you thing would improve the app or experience, we'd love to hear it.
