Working in the mental health field, I found out about Tochi and instantly recognized the help this app can have. That help will be subjective to each person and their mental health needs. Visually and verbally tracking my own moods helps me to understand patterns and connect dots between triggers and/or stressors. I also like that if I can be consistent with its use, it’ll give me more of a detailed record of my experiences over time. I’ll be able to appreciate more specifics about even small things that impacted my mood and mental health. Also, in general, the app has a cute and fun aesthetic. And I like to think that feels calming and soothing for me. Hopefully this app will be at least those, if not also helpful, to others!

I just downloaded this, and it’s already one of my favorite mood tracking apps. I do genuinely love everything about it However, I think stats being a premium feature is a bit much. Most mood tracking apps use stats as a basic feature, and theme-related things as premium features, which I find reasonable, because the purpose of mood tracking apps is to track your mood over a long period of time. I feel there’s no point in journaling if you can’t see how it has changed over time. Of course, I understand the need for the developers to make money. You guys need to earn a living. But instead of making an important feature cost money, why not add more UNimportant features, such as, say, more theme-related stuff (maybe a font option?) and make THAT cost money, so you can open up more opportunities for people to make use of the mental health features without having to pay? Of course, I love the app how it is and how free most of it already is. You guys did an amazing job. It’s just that one feature that kind of bothers me. Thank you for valuing mental health!

Edit: I just saw that you said to another user in April that the custom mood bubbles being locked behind premium was a bug being fixed. If so, I'll edit my review. But at the present, it's January 2026 and my friend who just got the app in Canada can't make custom mood bubbles. Please fix that. Full post: I recommended it to my friend, and it looked COMPLETELY different when she downloaded it. But not in a good way. It wasn't cute and soft like it was before, I remember seeing it look way more complicated, spammy, covered in blues, and it made me want to NEVER update. I'm an og member so my account gets more perks, but I was appalled at how she can't even make custom emotions and how limited her selection was. And GOD, Guys, the lifetime price is ABYSMAL 😭 Most apps in the self help genre charge like $12-$25 for lifetime. I'd LOVE to be a lifetime member but PLEASE fix that price. It's completely unaffordable for a MOOD TRACKER in this economy. I also prefer the original tochis. The simple colored laying down ones were cute. I don't like the sitting ones.

I think this app is the best thing really. It’s perfect for people with synesthesia like me, and it’s adorable. For me personally, it brings happiness to look at because of the colors and the cute illustration. Though I love this app, I do think it’s a bit unorganized and hard to navigate. The general tracking for overall stats is hard to navigate more specifically, as well as the color customization for emotions. Like I said, this app is perfect for people with synesthesia, but as someone with a wide range of the condition (especially when it comes to color-to-emotion/memory-processing), I’d like free customization of colors for emotions! If anything put features like the colors on the hedgehog in the premium subscription instead, things that aren’t connected to the tracking of emotions. Aside from those things, I think it was a great idea and unintentionally suited for people like me, which I think is awesome. <3
