Such a good app, but needs a minor tweak

I really appreciate how expansive the variety and depth of the affirmations are, as the wordings don’t seem over-generalized or basic as it feels like it covers many areas where people can be struggling - especially specific feelings or topics. Very helpful mentally and emotionally. I found that to be the case with the popular “I Am” app and it was not helpful. I also like how you can customize the background while on the app, as it adds a little bit of fun and personalization, which helps put one in a good mood. However, I will say the notification setting needs to be fixed as I set up the reminders but every time I get a notification it merely says “Test”, not a different quote like it’s supposed to.

The affirmations for some of the topics are good, some are off. Which is one of my concerns.. For example the health one, as I was hoping more for things like “my body is capable of healing” I got a bunch of Christian ones, although there’s one for spirituality. A couple of my favorites include wealth and bedtime As far as notifications, they don’t stay consistent with the topic I picked they are random, I get a lot about addiction which I don’t deal with. As far as the widget I find it can be a hit or miss regarding what topic you get. I wish it was consistent with the topic I pick. The meditation option is nice though So do what you will with that, idk if I will continue paying with these issues. I really got this app for the money affirmations not the others.Also everytime I open the app it insists I share the affirmation and I constantly have to restore my purchase.

I loved the app but realized I could just type my affirmations on the computer lol ….but the backgrounds are cute and peaceful to me….I made all customized affirmations- the app does not allow for only your favorite affirms to be as reminders during the day so I’m randomly getting affirmations about overcoming addiction which is not even relevant to me…not sure why this same addiction affirmation comes up everyday…this is not worth $30 for the year…this app could easily have a playback feature to let the affirmations just display in a timed play fashion as opposed to me skipping to the next

New Paywall but App isn’t much better

I had previously posted a review about the My Favorites not working and was told I only had one favorite, which wasn’t accurate. I still enjoy this app but there’s a new paywall…yet the original glitches still exist. The reminders no longer say “Testing” and actually come up now, but are totally random instead of the category I actually set them for I.e. Addiction affirmations in Romance. Half of the time, the home widget displays the same exact affirmation “I am Awesome” despite that being nowhere in my favorites or the chosen category. The multiple glitches always bothered me but at least it was free. If it’s gonna have in-app purchases for more than 2/3 of the features, I would at least hope the quality would’ve gotten better.

The reason why the same message is displayed over and over is because you most likely selected the My Favorites category and there is only one affirmation in your favourites. You can try to change the category by tapping "Category" in the bottom left corner of your screen or add more affirmations to your favorites.
