Enjoy the Beautiful and Seamless ROVE APP for Your ROVE Dash Cam in 2025 The ROVE Dash Cam app is designed to work with the ROVE R2-4K, ROVE R2-4K PRO, ROVE R2-4K-DUAL, and ROVE R3 models. This app connects your ROVE dash cameras to your smartphone wirelessly via the WiFi feature. This allows you to access live video within a 10-meter range from the dash cam, configure your dash cam settings, update firmware remotely, and much more. You can also download and share recorded videos with friends and family via all common sharing platforms. Features of the ROVE App The app contains four main sections: 1. LIVE VIDEO - View, start, or stop live video recordings from your ROVE dash cam directly on your smartphone. 2. DASHCAM VIDEO - Access recorded videos and photos on your smartphone. 3. LOCAL VIDEO - Access downloaded footage and images on your smartphone, and share them via all common sharing platforms, including WhatsApp, Facebook, and more. You can view the live location and speed on Google Maps using the built-in GPS feature. 4. DASH CAM SETTING - Modify dash cam video settings and system settings directly from your smartphone, allowing you to easily configure your dash cam on a larger screen. Connecting the ROVE App is Simple STEP 1 - Turn on the WiFi feature on your ROVE dash cam. STEP 2 - On your iPhone, go to Settings, then WiFi, and join the ROVE Dash Cam’s WiFi network. The default password is “12345678.” STEP 3 - Once the connection is successful, open the ROVE app. If you are a first-time user, create an account. Best dash cam on the market for the money far exceeds even the ones that you spend $500 for are not as good as clear as this one with all the additional features that it comes with automatically installation is a breeze recording and viewing the recordings is a breeze. Also, I was strongly recommend this to anybody who looking for a dash cam that got true night vision that looks like daylightand all the information that it offers so if you are in a wreck or if you witness a crime or witness a wreck, it is all the information to the attorneys to correct the problem and show what actually happened pleased give it a five star rating actually give it a six if they had six stars

I’ve had this camera for 3 years now and it’s still working perfectly. I live in a high temperature area where temperatures reach well over 100 degrees in the summer months and it’s never over heated or malfunctioned. The video quality is top tier indeed. The price made me think twice about buying it but once I bought it I began to understand why it cost so much. It captures 3 different angles at the same time all in 4K. So I would definitely recommend this product to anyone in the gig space doing Ride-Share because you have Front Camera- Rear Camera, and most importantly you have the Inside Camera for your protection. Awesome dash cam. Buy it.

I’ve had this camera for 3 years now and it’s still working perfectly. I live in a high temperature area where temperatures reach well over 100 degrees in the summer months and it’s never over heated or malfunctioned. The video quality is top tier indeed. Wanted to wait until I had it long enough to give a good review. I have the dual cams back and front dash. Gives the accurate gps locations. Times are a minute or so off but no biggie. I’d say make sure your windows are clean before installing. Made the mistake of a dirty back windshield and the burrs were horrible. If driving in the rain just have the defog on you’ll get a lot camera. Definitely recommend. For reference I ended a situation and the dash cams have enough for me to take my life back. No more leaving the house terrified!!

It used to be an OK app: it was mostly duplicating the dashcam’s internal settings menu, but was kinda more convenient on the phone screen (operating over dashcam’s own WiFi network/connection) - but now, after a mandatory “update”, you cannot get to anything any longer till you create an account with Rove (they named it “improved login”) and you cannot get into your own camera settings - or recordings - WITHOUT REGISTERING with this Chinese enterprise!!Thankfully, the “pull the flash card out and open files on the computer” way still works … (I wonder now, for how much longer it will be allowed).Coincidentally, just got the second Rove camera couple days ago - seriously debating myself if I should return it now and get something else…
