The Minuteful test process was very clear and easy to follow. As long as each step is followed from beginning to end - and the patients simply step through the process, it works perfectly. The videos were tremendously helpful. I had confidence that I was doing it correctly based on the videos. Overall, the kit was thoughtfully created.

Good but takes too long

I read the steps a couple of days ago. It wanted my first urine from the day. The first time I wake up I usually am desperate to go and at least some goes into my pull-up so that wasn’t happening. This morning after I used the bathroom I went back to bed. When I woke up I didn’t feel I had to go…I hadn’t drank anything after being up the first time. I knew I was supposed to wash my hands before doing it. Fortunately I had read through the instructions and had an idea what was coming. I clicked into the app and started washing my hands…I finished washing my hands and the video was still going. Overall the video was helpful but I went from not needing to go to desperate before it was ready to let me take my sample. It would be better if the patient was told to read the instructions and watch the video before they are ready to preform the test because it takes too long for most people to hold a bladder before they can empty it.

When asked to write the review I had been provided with a nearly useless result. This is clearly a way for the promoting company to make more money and not be fully supporting the test taker. The result showed a VAST range and seemed designed only to get you to see your doctor. While that is useful I was led to believe the result would be more granular. As it is the test is entirely too binary: eg you have issues vs no issues. Not good enough as I already know that from a doctor I trust explicitly. I wouldn’t have bothered taking the test had I known the result is provided in a uselessly broad manner.
