Ranger – EV Route Planner
Road Trip Charging Stops
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Heading out on an EV road trip? Ranger Pro finds the next charger on your network and keeps it in CarPlay while you drive.
Your companion for EV road trips. See where your battery runs low along the route, pick the charging stops you prefer, and let Ranger Pro find the next charger on your network — right in CarPlay.
PLAN THE TRIP
• See your range on the map
Your route is colored by the battery you'll have left — green when it's high, red when it's low, black where you'd run out.
• Choose your own stops
Browse charging stations along the route and add the ones you like. Ranger shows your battery on arrival and after charging, and how long the stop takes.
• Tune it to your car
Set your starting charge and consumption with simple sliders and watch the route update instantly.
• Arrive with a buffer
Plan to arrive with charge to spare, not a warning light.
ON THE ROAD WITH RANGER PRO
• Find the next charger
See the chargers ahead on your route, with the distance, your arrival time and the battery you'll have when you get there. Pick one and make it your next stop.
• Filter by network
On a charging plan with Electrify America or another network? Show only their chargers, so every stop is at the rates you pay.
• In CarPlay
The list follows you onto the car's screen and updates as you drive. One glance tells you whether the next charger is still within reach — or whether it's time to stop sooner.
• Plan while you charge
Waiting at a charger? Adjust the rest of the trip, line up your next stops, and see how much charge you need to get there.
YOUR TRIP, YOUR CALL
Ranger doesn't pick stops for you. It shows you the whole picture — range, chargers and arrival charge — so you decide where to stop, based on how you drive and where you're going.
