The Rail Muhafiz App is the initiative of Government of Pakistan in collaboration with Pakistan Railway for the safety of bona fide passengers (especially women) of Pakistan Railways who face any panic or emergency situation during their journey. The initiative has been under taken to provide safe and secure travel to women travelling through PR trains across Pakistan. This app will help passengers to get immediate help/relief from Pakistan Railways deputed relief/response team. The key features of the app include: 1.Seemless integration with PR ticketing system 2. Auto picking travel info of the passenger 3. Provision of panic/emergency button 4. Activation of alert to the instant response team 5. Real time Control room monitoring of panic alerts 6. Reactive policing. This app has been designed, developed and managed by NITB for Pakistan Railways.
