I’m confused. This app is actually more overwhelming to navigate, less intuitive, and visually uglier. I appreciate the extra setting options, but seeing as I couldn’t reorder the display as it suggests I can, I don’t understand the purpose. My savings account is first, and no matter how many times I try, I can’t change it. So I thought, “Hey, let me just hide the savings so my checking is up front as soon as I open it.”And thankfully that setting works. But then, I can’t transfer funds between the accounts because one is hidden now. Dumb. Maybe this update is better for people with more accounts, more money, more assets who need to be careful how they move their money. Which is cool for them, but I can’t imagine Midfirst only services that group of people. Whatever. I’m sure I’ll get over it. But y’all better update this app soon because as it stands now, it’s genuinely the worst app programming I’ve ever had the misfortune of being forced to use.

The old app and the new app do the same things that I normally use the mobile app for, except that the new app is worse in every way. Also, when logging in they don't tell you anywhere that you must first sign in on the website (not in the app) to transfer from your old app to the new app (neither of the apps make this clear other than there's a "new MidFirst experience" available). I read some of the reviews before trying to sign in and that's how I figured it out, but c'mon really? Is it that hard to put a little popup that says to sign in first on the website and then you can sign in on the app? The automatic bot is probably going to respond to this review with the same message as everyone else so our voices won't be heard by the dev team, but if a real person at MidFirst is reading this, please have someone implement that message so that it's not confusing and wasting everyone's time! Thank you.

To many times, companies attempt to make improvements and launching it before careful and diligent testing. I think that the case for this new app. It’s simply horrible. I haven’t been able to log into my account since I received the email instructions. Seems like most people are having the same issue and the auto response is to call customer service. That’s plain crazy! You don’t have the man power to handle all these complaints. Fix this or keep the old app active before you have a mass exodus of frustrated customers!!!Update… after calling the online banking number and holding for 16 minutes, I was finally walked thru the process of activating that nap app. Login on an internet browser first to activate the app. Why was this not communicated??? SMH!!! Based on being able to login and fiddling around, I actually like the new app so far!

This new app is an absolute dumpster fire. It is completely unstable with one glitch after another. Whether it’s the screen flashing constantly with nothing displayed; failing to log in and repetitively taking you back to the log in screen; or the inconsistent Face ID which only occasionally works, this app is completely garbage. After deleting it and re-installing, it worked for only a few days before glitching all over again. Whatever Midfirst paid for this app development, they should get double back as a refund just for the shame and embarrassment they should feel. As a Midfirst customer for 10+ years I use the app multiple times per day. Without a reliable app, I’m considering moving to another bank, because it’s just that bad. The development team should be banished to a third world country with no internet or need for software engineers so they can find their true calling, because this isn’t it.
