Coach’s Corner

View rosters for all of your teams complete with email address, phone number, one touch “send message” via the app. If that wasn’t enough, you can now Email, Text Message, or Both at the same time to any of your teams with just a few taps.

No more fumbling trying to find who plays where and when. The Schedule view on the PLAYERSPACE app displays all games, events, and practices for you and your family. Check game scores, upcoming practices, or end of season party information more conveniently than ever. And don’t worry, if the coach or sports director changes a game or practice time, the app will automatically update for you.

Everything from game day jersey number changes to finalizing game scores, to dynamic standing calculations and automatic bracket advancement, your leagues and tournaments will never run more smoothly than they will with this innovative app. Here are just a few of its many user-friendly features and benefits:
- League, Pool Play and Bracket Games automatically loaded to the app for approved score keepers and statisticians.
- Easy to use filters to find your game.
- Player data including player profile pics automatically loaded to the app from their PLAYERSPACE Profile.

For my children’s games and practices (which are not the same each time), the app does not show the name of the location but only the address. Sometimes, games/practices are held at churches or schools. I have to map the address to figure out what the name of the venue is. This is not helpful as most of the time, I know how to get the venue without mapping it… but the app doesn’t show what the venue is.
V2.0 might be worse

Our Y uses PlayerSpace and as a Coach I am supremely frustrated that team members cannot reply to messages. I downloaded v2.0 desperately hoping that had been added. Sadly no. In fact it even shows me LESS information than before and I can’t even initiate a team message via the app. It still seems like a front end to a desktop-based website, but guess what? Parents aren’t at their PC on Saturday morning before games when messages need sent! If you can’t reply to messages and communicate in the app, this is pretty useless.
