The substitute teacher app schools trust most.
Subbey connects your school with its own trusted substitute teachers so absences get covered in seconds, not hours of calls, texts, and emails. Whether you run a public school, private school, charter school, independent school, or preschool, Subbey makes substitute teacher management simple for administrators, teachers, and subs.
BUILT BY A TEACHER, FOR SCHOOLS
Subbey was founded by a teacher who lived through the sub-finding scramble. That is why the app works the way schools actually do:
Your school keeps its own substitute pool
Every sub is someone your school added and trusts
Teachers and admins stay in control of every job
The Subbey team personally onboards your staff and subs
This is not a staffing agency. Your subs stay your subs, and you never pay per-day fees or markups.
FILL A SUB JOB IN SECONDS
The Subbey app helps school administrators and teachers:
Post a substitute job in a few clicks
Notify every available sub in your pool instantly
Fill jobs the moment the first sub taps accept
Hand-pick which subs see specific jobs
Message subs with in-app chat
Share lesson plans right in the app
See your whole coverage calendar at a glance
HOW IT WORKS
A teacher or admin posts a sub job
Every sub in your school pool gets an instant notification
The first available sub claims it and your classroom is covered
FOR SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS
Looking for substitute teaching jobs? Subbey makes subbing simple:
Get instant alerts when your schools post jobs
Claim jobs with one tap
See lesson plans and details before you arrive
Chat with the school right in the app
Manage your whole schedule from your phone
SUBSTITUTE MANAGEMENT MADE SIMPLE
Subbey is the substitute teacher management app for schools that are done with phone tag.
