Note: A Hamina Onsite subscription is required to use Hamina Onsite. A Hamina Onsite or Hamina Planner subscription is required to view survey results in the Hamina Planner web app.
With a Hamina Onsite subscription and either a Hamina Clip or Oscium Nomad Wi-Fi measurement device, use Hamina Onsite to take measurements of Wi-Fi networks, create site surveys, and produce heatmaps that show Wi-Fi coverage.
After getting a subscription to Hamina Onsite and either the Hamina Clip or Oscium Nomad Wi-Fi measurement hardware, create projects either in the Hamina Network Planner web application or directly on your device with the Hamina Onsite application. Then, go on site with the Oscium Nomad and perform a site survey to gather data using Hamina Onsite's point survey, continuous survey, or all-new line survey modes. Add field notes to the map, too!
Once the survey is done, Hamina Onsite automatically synchronizes survey results to the cloud for in-depth analysis with the Hamina Network Planner web app. View survey results, add and remove survey paths, and share survey projects with colleagues for collaboration.
more Long time user of this app even before it was GA. Love the thought process, creativity, out of box thinking, innovation and feed back from real engineers this team is using to build this app. I have been able to do designs faster and more efficiently as well as review them with customers in a way that makes sense to them. Even some of my customers ended up buying this. Love the team and app.

This app makes you go through giving them your email and phone number to verify before displaying that it requires the purchase of a licence to use. So do yourself a favor and dont waist your time on this garbage app. there is multiple other free apps that do the same thing for free.

1.0.54 4d ago
- You can now combine multiple scans of your surroundings into one larger floor plan.

1.0.52 Sep 16
- You can now import a floor plan straight from your Photos library or by snapping a picture with your camera.

- The BLE connection now stays alive briefly while Hamina Onsite is backgrounded.
- Fixed an issue on iPad where the create-project modal wouldn't close properly after creating a project and returning to the project list.
- There was a rare crash that could happen right as a RoomPlan scan ended. That's fixed now!

1.0.51 Aug 26
- We tracked down a bug that could cause a crash while scanning to create a floor plan. That's fixed!
1.0.50 Jul 4
- No floor plan? No problem. Now you can scan your surroundings with a LiDAR-equipped iPhone or iPad, and we'll build the floor plan and map your survey path as you go. This feature is in beta, so we'll keep adding to it. If you hit any issues, let us know!
- You can now tap through the tip box in the map view, and on iPad we moved the tip box to the toolbar to keep it out of your way.
- There was a bug where a specific network error could leave a map upload stuck for 20 minutes. That's fixed now!
1.0.49 Jul 1
- In really large projects, the UI could freeze temporarily right after completing a survey. That's fixed now.
- Access points that were manually merged in Hamina Network Planner were showing up as separate markers in Onsite. Now they appear correctly as merged.
- On iPad, the info buttons on the Internet tab weren't responding to taps. Fixed!
1.0.48 Jun 17

1.0.46 May 26
- While surveying, previous survey paths are dimmed, so it's easier to see the current survey path
- Added AP name parsing for Fortinet, Meter and Ubiquiti
- Added BSSID grouping for Huawei
- We improved Hamina Clip connection management, including remembering the last connected Clip
- The sound that plays when connecting and disconnecting USB devices to the Oscium Nomad no longer pauses other media playing on your iPhone or iPad (like music or a podcast)

- Hamina Onsite now records spectrum analysis data with Oscium WiPry Lucid and Oscium Wi-Spy Clarity during site surveys! The recorded data will be available for viewing in Hamina Network Planner.
- This release adds support for the NetAlly NXT-2000 spectrum analyzer in the real-time view! Recording with the NXT-2000 during site surveys is coming soon.
- The Spectrum Density view has a new 70-100% utilization color, making it easier to spot areas with high congestion.
- We fixed an issue where Hamina Onsite could fail to fetch measurements from the cloud, if someone else happened to be uploading data to the same map, at the same time.
- We fixed a rare bug that could cause offline AP-on-a-Stick measurements to “unfreeze” after syncing with the cloud. It was a weird one, but it’s gone now!
1.0.34 10/22/2025

1.0.31 07/18/2025
- This update fixes a bug introduced in the previous version where terminating the app during an active survey session could result in a corrupted measurement file. While the file was still uploaded to the cloud and retained all but the last few measurements, the corruption at the end made it unreadable by our cloud processing system. The files are now safely handled even during unexpected terminations, and a separate cloud hotfix was released on July 3 to retroactively process all previously affected files and enable the system to correctly read and handle corrupted files going forward, without requiring any user action.
1.0.30 07/02/2025
- Fixed a display and performance issue with large maps containing many surveys.
