The MeterSense app is a component of Connexo FieldSense, a solution for the administration, configuration and service of Honeywell smart meters.

Communication to Honeywell smart meters
- Support for Honeywell meter families: AC250 NXS, NXU, Alpha 4, A3 ALPHA, REXUniversal.
- Support for all ANSI C12 communication protocols: ANSI C12.18, ANSI C12.21, ANSI C12.22.
- Local communication to Honeywell smart meters via meter’s optical port using Bluetooth.
- Remote communication to Honeywell smart meters:
- IPv4 for meter equipped with WAN interface (e.g., cellular modem).
- IPv6 for meters connected via SynergyNet® mesh network.
Meter readings: store, view, manage
- View and manage list of meter readings generated by the app.
- Open a stored meter readings and display all meter data in a comprehensive set of meter views.
- Capture and associate meter photo to a reading (when the reading is performed over optical port).
- Capture and associate meter location to a reading (when the reading is performed over optical port).
Synchronize to Metercat Server via secure HTTPS interface, upon successful authentication:
- Metercat Server sends to the app the data/settings authorized to the user by the Connexo FieldSense administrator (e.g., authorized functions, authorized meter programs, phone book entries, etc.).
- MeterSense sends to the server the meter readings, meter locations/photos, audits logs and any other data generated by the app during operation in the field.

This app is useless until Honeywell has their Bluetooth “beltclip” radio comm that connect to an IOS device.
Developer Response
We noticed that you mentioned the belt clip radio. Please note that that belt clip radio is only needed when you use the Inspector app. MeterSense communicates with meters using a Bluetooth optical probe. If you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your Honeywell representative.
This update includes stability improvements and the following new features:
- Enhanced sync APIs for improved sign-in and data sync reliability.
- System Requirements: This version requires Metercat Administration Station 9.0 or later.
