If you’re looking for a dictionary this is the one to get I’ve had this dictionary for Very long time and I paid a pretty penny $$ for it. It was well worth every dime. I have to commend this company for the support and the app compatibility updates they give for our new devices. I believe in my personal opinion they have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Every support inquiry I have made I have gotten nothing but professionalism from their support staff last one was really a stupid mistake on my part they were very nice to laugh along with me. And yes I would recommend this to my friends and I would buy again

Good intention but old look and feel

I'd like to begin with commending the comprehensive nature of this dictionary and thesaurus—it truly is a one-stop resource for anyone looking to enhance their vocabulary and speaking skills. However, the aesthetic elements, such as the color themes (red for a thesaurus, for instance) and the font choice, seem outdated, reminiscent of early iOS applications. While I appreciate the dedication to maintaining the app and offering it at a one-time cost, the user interface could greatly benefit from a modern redesign. Take, for example, the Oxford dictionary app by MobiDict, which boasts a clean, user-friendly interface with appealing fonts and colors, focusing on essential features rather than an overload of rarely used ones. At the very least, an update to the font could help the app feel more current. I hope this feedback is received as constructive criticism, and I want to reiterate my appreciation for your consistent efforts over the years. Looking forward to hearing your response.
Stay away - after 3 weeks “total failure” to force you to buy again

I bought an app called OED deluxe a couple years ago: worked fine, loved it, until a few weeks ago, kept getting “total failure” - the app would shut down and redirect to purchase another app. Cust service finally convinced me this was because my “subscription” expired (even tho this is supposed to be a one time purchase). But ok I went and bought it again. There were a couple apps: one with (In App) in the title (didn’t work, got refunded), and this one: this app worked for a few weeks and now AGAIN. _______UPDATE FEB. 23, 2022 _____I had removed all OED apps from all devices (as well as Am Heritage) which had the same problem. Following the developer’s response, I tried to redownload. Right now it’s working. I’ll be glad to have it back but am also wary that the issue may recur again.

There were issues with Apple's licensing system. Please download the latest version (14.0). That fixes the issue.Go to AppStore > [your account] > "Update all" and it will download if you are on WiFi.Sorry for the inconvenience.
Glad for the updates

Grateful for the updates to make this compatible with new iOS and new iDevices. This was an expensive app when I bought it. Unlike other dictionary apps that I bought that were also expensive (eg Shorter Oxford English Dictionary) this one continues to update for compatibility while the other ones no longer work on newer devices.
