I have been using FieldService for 5 years. Today was the first time I watched the entire video. I like that you can figure out how to use the app without instructions but of course I did learn something by watching the entire video. I like the map feature and the newly added appointment feature is great because now I don’t have to write down on paper who I want to visit. I wish there were more features in the search for example search by name. I’m aware it has a sort by name but I would like to be able to search by name. I have moved a couple of times and would like to keep some old contacts. It’s hard to search over several names. Is there a way to keep some contacts in a separate group? For example I keep some names because I want to able to call them by their first name but they are not necessarily my RV’s. I just realized that I have been typing in the street name on the field that reads street but if you write the number and street on the first field you will have the option of sorting by street. Don’t know what the street field is for? Its easy to use I have not lost any contacts I back it up once in a while.

The video mentions that you can make separate users. The idea was originally for a parent to keep track of their kids' time and RVs. You can also create a group for deleted calls, or calls for another area. Some have even made users for each territory. You an move calls between users by pressing the "Move Contact" button in an RV. All of this is in the full video. I can look into a search feature. Thanks

LOVE THIS APP—-NEED HELP WITH PROBLEM THO

I have been using this app for over 2 yrs and LOVE IT!!! The downloadable Offers entered along with my placements being entered in the RV section is EXCELLENT! I have the app loaded on my iPhone and iPad. The problem I need help with is when I updated to iOS 11 all my contacts & time were deleted in the app in my iPhone. (I have not updated my iPad so they are still there) Unfortunately I had not backed up and that’s my fault. The folder of my Return Visits is still in the contacts section of my phone but there is not an option in my app to Restore Deleted Contacts on my iPhone like on my iPad. The other problem I’ve been wanting help with is on my iPad the automatic entry of placements and video is not consistent. Sometimes it even drops what has been entered. I have not been using the app on my iPad other than to look at RVs for this reason. Can you help me solve these problems? Also if there is a way to have both devices sync the placements & time can you tell me how? I LOVE this app and have gotten many of my Pioneer partners to use it!! Thank you in advance for help with my few problems!!

Send an email backup between devices. Contacts will sync via iCloud. It might not be gone. Some users have reported that the user setting changed in iOS 11. If you're using an iPhone/iPod, go to Settings->Field Service, and "Enable Multiple Users". Go to the "users" tab and choose a different user from the is and see if your information is there. You can also tap the "Recover Lost Time" button in he "Users" view. You can also "Recover Deleted Contacts" in the "Return Visits" tab. You can also "Add Existing Contact" in the "Return Visits" tab. Please watch the video by going to the "Offers" tab and press the "Instructions" button in the lower right corner. Service app

While there are no doubt other good service apps out there, I have enjoyed using this one since 2013. It is simple and easy to use. I can easily send a report each month without having to add everything myself. It keeps track of everything for me including for previous years.
One thing that I’m not sure why it happens is some of the months will show up twice when I’m looking at my yearly report although it will generally show zero activity when it shows the month the second time...the first will show my activity for the month... although, this does mess up the averages per month since considering more than 12 months total. I just deal with it.
Otherwise I’ve really not had much reason to change to a different service app... but if that problem could be fixed it would be much appreciated.

Please tap twice on the month to either edit the entry totals or delete the entry. Tapping once will let you view the report for that month. Thanks
