I’ve been looking for a replacement got the old Hoyle Card Games Poker, and this comes close. I wish you could switch off the opponents buying in when they run out of money

After playing a few hands, I was ready to write a 5-star review. Here it was:This app is an undiscovered gem! Many people have complained (elsewhere) that there are no good offline iPad poker games.Well, this app is it! It has many varieties of offline poker. That includes varieties of Omaha, my favorite game.There is a steady-play mode, and a tournament mode with increasing blinds. It’s just what I was looking for. Well worth the price!——Unfortunately I cannot post that review. The last time I played, I left the app to check my email. When I returned, the app was frozen. The Fold, Check, and Raise buttons have all disappeared. They’re just gone. There’s nothing there.And I cannot get back to the Home Screen. That button is gone, too.I’m running iOS 18.3 on an iPad.If this gets fixed, I’ll quickly update my review to 5-stars.On edit: It also would be nice if the font was a little larger. The words on the table are a bit small.

Great company, great poker variety

I remember using their poker game with Windows Pocket PC prior to the iPhone. Nice mixture of games, graphics are fine but aren't outstanding, but I've always felt that card games are better with simple graphics in exchange for speed of play. I'm hoping that the promised upgrades aren't tentative based solely on sales; iPhone game buyers really want dependability and continuity with upgrades before latching onto a product/company, not just possibilities. Otherwise, people tend to take their very small investment and dump the app, which is much different than the Windows Mobile world where people pay a lot of money for a game and are more likely to stick with it.
