The app has really improved after removing the pop up adsThe question remains as to why ads are still on news articles After the fb data mining scandal , Rte need to to re-evaluate this part of their app service Clicking on an imbedded video and adjusting the volume control leaves the user looking at the volume settings , missing the videoBeing able to customize sports news weather is great

White screen and app blows up

This started happening in the last week: I try to look at the news, I get the header lines but the rest of the content area is white, and after a few seconds the application blows up. If I try to press on one of the options in the header lines before it blows up there is no response.

Can’t close out of videos

Very poor, every time you play a video on the newest iPhone X or 11, the X button on videos does not allow you to close out of the video to get back to the story. No swipe or other action to do it either. Has been happening for over a year but RTÉ obviously not testing or listening to users.
