DropCopy is designed to function as intuitively as possible: simply launch it on 2 or more devices (iOS or macOS) that are on the same Wifi network and the devices will automatically "see" each other. You select the file you want to copy, and the destination; DropCopy takes care of the rest. To get files from the Mac to your iPhone, simply drag a file onto our discreet "dropzone" in the menubar and it is transferred immediately to your chosen destination.

Let’s just hope…

Hey while back, I had bought or gotten for free I can’t remember an application that simply allowed you to push a button and whatever file I had was magically transferred to my desktop. Since that time Apple shut it down and I’ve been looking for a replacement ever since. This is the only thing that comes closeI’m sorry, but airdrop is not quote “instantaneous” and I can’t for the life of me figure out why the hell they haven’t paid attention to it or heard the collective moans of millions of people of the much ballyhooed feature. Thank God for companies like this that pay attention to the little details that Apple doesn’t and actually gives me better functionality.Thank you! Great product. Let’s just hope that Apple doesn’t come around and… Well I don’t want to be greedy, if Apple does come around I’m sure the developers of this app will be handsomely rewarded for which I say “good for you” Then I have to turn around and say “bad for me” LOL either way at least I’ll get some timeThanks again

Invaluable for me -- I got it for grabbing pictures for household inventory/insurance and find I'm using it for everything! Grabbing pictures for Etsy, eBay or my blog, quick pics to email to friends, anything I need to "keep" a copy -- DropCopy means I can just send the pictures from my iPhone to my MacBook Air (or even my ancient 2013 MacBook Pro!) without having to be sitting in front of the recipient machine to accept. :)AND -- this works even when AirDrop has forgotten it's on a network.Thanks Matia labs!

I have had this app for as long as I remember, might have been from when it first came out, or around then. But it has been a CONSTANT on every Mac I own. It works to move files, it does it well, and with no problems. This works when AirDrop does not. I cannort recommend it enough. If you need to mnove files between macs, this is for you.

I used this app originally almost 15 years ago, and it was very useful. Then, with newer Macs, I forgot about it, until recently, when I was unable to connect other Macs to one running Big Sur. I found and downloaded DropCopy, and it worked beautifully! I recommend it heartily.
