C’mon! I know there needs to be ads but it’s ridiculous when I need to check for a tip amount when I am up at the cashier’s stand, and they’re waiting on me. I’m calling it up and get smashed with ads trying to find the “x” to get it off the screen. Must you make that “x” as tiny as a gnat??!!!!!!Until you fix this, I don’t think this app deserves me rating it any higher than 2. I’m hoping that someone coding can make this app at least a 4 star rating - again. Please?

This app is an oops! Put in the subtotal without tax and you get the correct calculation. If you enter the full amount with tax, THEN tell it tip pre-tax, it gives you an incorrect calculation! It should be exactly the same! Somebody mis-programmed it or doesn’t know their math! NOW, the last few days, when you hit the “done” button, a huge full page ad jumps out at you with startling loud music!! Also when it does, it very often blanks what you had just input. Can’t live with this! You’ve got to fix that!! I offloaded this app. Found a MUCH NICER ONE!!

The app is well created and easy to quickly figure the appropriate tip for unusual occasions. BUT! There is a but to this. Put your phone in airplane mode prior to opening the app. Trust me, this will save you time and the embarrassment of the obnoxious adds that pop up at every screen change. If not for the extremely obnoxious ads I would have given 5 stars. Actually the 3rd star I'm conflicted over.
