I drive a 1984 VW vanagon and found that gas with ethanol in it made my car stutter and even die on the freeway. When I put 91 octane ethanol-free gas in it, it ran fine. I used this app all across the country to find the gas I needed. I wish there were more stations because sometimes I couldn’t find one near me. The only recommendation I have for a future update is when in the Map view, when I click on a station, I’d like to know what octane they are selling. Now I have to leave the Map view and scroll through the list to find the info I need and then enact Google map to get there. Small problem but would be helpful. I love the fact that I literally just opened it up and 2 seconds later I’m looking at a gas station near me with ethanol free gas. It said “submitted by BoringJim” so I assume WE are the ones that actually make this app grow, but it’s not too intuitive in the app on how to actually submit an ethanol free gas station. Probably for the best tho cuz of trolls. XD All in all, this app is gonna save a lot of wear and tear on my equipment AND the gas won’t go bad if it’s sitting around for a few months or technically forever because ethanol free gas doesn’t go bad!Thanks PureGas. For those who are unaware, this app may lack some fancy features, but the developers are not making money from it. I would rather a simple app that provides the exact data needed than an app with lots of fluff. I have tried reaching the developers to provide financial support for the product, but never got a response. 5/5, engineers do things best!

Idk why this app is so highly rated. It’s garbage. Literally all you can do is as see a list of gas stations. Some useful features would be allow users to post gas prices, post the grades of fuel that no ethical fuel is available. My car only takes 93 octane and I prefer 100% gas, no ethanol. Makes the app useless without that knowledge unless I just want to drive to every gas station and look myself. The app has their phone number listed but no way to click it to call. You have to write it down like this is the 1800s. You click the name of the gas station the only thing that happens is it opens Waze gps app. Can’t even click the phone number of the station and ask their fuel grade flavors. They must pay google to spam advertise for them Bc when you google “apps for 100% gas”it almost exclusively says pure gas. But this app is very lacking.
