A great tool to add interest to your photos

Over the past 15 or so years, I have owned multiple programs that would add matting and frames to my photos. Some were better than others, some supported defining your own frames. Along the way most of those tools disappeared as Apple made changes to the hardware and operating system. ImageFramer is now the tool I have to do the job. It works, it runs on my older Mac as well as my newer Mac and it has a good selection of frames and matting that can easily be combined to make some unique frames for your images. It is easy to use and I have purchased all the Pro features, well worth the money! For those of you who like putting frames on your images, you can’t go wrong with ImageFramer. Purchase the pro version, you will be happy you did.

Stuke
For virtual galleries, this app cannot be beat. It also can give you inspiration for those very few photos you want to have professionally mounted for physically hanging in your home (or gallery). Beyond that, it's just fun building your own frames!

VERY Buggy

The app has sosme basically 'nice' frames but really far to few for the money. I purchsed the mid level with reportedly many frames to choose from. however there were very few added beyond the free version. Basically you are paying for removing the H2O mark. The appp itself is very buggy. Frequently when beginning a new edit the 'templates' do not show up and you have to go in and out of the app to get the 'template' secction to populate, often layers will simply not work. Once I am finished doing what I have to do, I will simply call it a mediocre purchase, and delete the app. I don't understand developers, make an app stable, make an app easy to use (certainly with apps that have little complexity) make and app robust.
