Play this a lot and it is great. Took me a while to figure out why certain hands get played differently since there are no given reasons. However, after paying some attention you can figure out why sometimes is best to keep K and 10 suited or sometimes it’s best to only keep the K. In my opinion, this is a much better way to learn then going to a strategy card.

Please take a look at the Analysis screen after a game is finished and it will show you why a particular hand is the best option based on probabilistic expected returns.

Play this a lot and it is great. Took me a while to figure out why certain hands get played differently since there are no given reasons. Overall this is my favorite VP app to learn on. The level of feedback and guidance is changeable to your preferences. It is limited in the number variations that can be played however, but limited options may be preferred so as not to be overwhelmed by choices. The look and feel of the game itself could use some updating; It’s not what you’ll find in an actual casino. Such as a Game King device. Absolutely recommend this app be a part of your training though!

Really enjoy this app and it has helped greatly improve my game, just wish on the more complicated hands someone could describe why/how holding certain cards in certain situations is more advantageous. I’m fine trusting the math, but want to make sure I remember/recognize the right play in the casino. Top notch app!!

iPhone Rotation?

Great app for learning how to play but I have one question. On earlier iPhones I had, I could rotate the phone and the play orientation could either be horizontal or vertical. Now the play is just vertical. My phone orientation is unlocked and there’s nothing in the app regarding changing the orientation. Any hints?

Due to the large number of screen sizes it has become much too difficult to support the landscape orientation on all the iPhones.

- Fixed bug with ads appearing on iPad when device was rotated, when they should not.
