This is a good app for tracking weight and body metrics, pairs easily with the scale. However, my one issue is this: when you update your goal weight, the app automatically changes your starting weight to your current weight. As I’ve lost weight, I’ve lowered my goal to continue losing; I really wish I could keep my starting weight at my original weight instead of the app automatically changing it to my new current weight. I’d like to see the chart display my change from my TRUE starting weight to my current. Maybe there could be a feature added to be able to adjust or choose your starting weight when adjusting goal weight. That’s my only complaint. Everything else is fine!
The New UI is NOT an improvement
BAD1225
The new UI is definitely not an improvement. Not sure why developers think adding more whitespace and less data make a UI better. It never does. The app should be functional. The graphs are harder to read and show less info. Can no longer drag the line cursor across the graph to “scroll” data points, you have to just keep tapping on the next data point. It doesn’t retain the last view you had (eg Week vs month vs year), but always default to the week, regardless whether that is your preferred default view. Won’t even save it if you edit the dashboard. The bold “bubble” numbers are not pleasing to the eye and don’t look professional but like a 16 year old designed it. Try less massive white space and smaller font so the user can see more on the dashboard without scrolling. These are just not at all functional user helpful updates. It is an attempt to make the app look “modern and cool” not be more functional for the user. That’s a big downgrade for an app that isn’t for entertainment but functionality and the ability to see and digest data.

Must open the App before weighing!?
Richbald
I have had an 0396 WiFi scale for many years. When connected to WiFi it would add my weight records without requiring me to open the App. If not connected to WiFi, it would save multiple days and then load into the app once connected. I enjoyed using that scale. However it recently failed and began recording that I weighed 600+ pounds on multiple days. I’m in the low 200’s. So I bought an 0383 Bluetooth scale and was VERY DISAPPOINTED to learn that I must open the App before weighing. I don’t like the additional step requirement. Before purchasing this 0383, I had tried two other BT scales and they required the same step of opening the app. I finally acknowledged that opening the app first must be a requirement to use BT. I am staying with the Weight Gurus app and scale. I prefer this app and will learn to settle for opening the app. Just one more step in the process….

Good, but…
A.Muir
Good app but once you reach your goal weight and set it to maintain, it notifies you that you are straying from your maintenance weight if you add or drop even 0.2 pounds. You should be able to set a threshold for maintenance of +/- a certain number of pounds before it tells you that you’re getting away from your goal. Also, it would be nice to have notes that you could attach to remind yourself of factors affecting your weight. For women it would also be amazing to sync with cycle tracking apps to graph them on top of each other since that can be such a huge factor in weight fluctuations.
Improved app stability, chart reliability, and overall bug fixes.
