This is a good app but now I can’t get it to work. It’s Labor Day weekend and all I wanted was a wave forecast. This app is my go to because I found it to be the most reliable (wind/waves). I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times but wave forecast isn’t loading. For now it gets 3 stars with Hopes that it gets fixed soon.****** I’m impressed that the developer responded to my review to explain the problem they were having. Issue was fixed and I changed my review to 5 stars. Having a 23’ boat I need a accurate wave forecast to venture into the ocean and I get it with this app.

Great app for a commercial lobstermen out of DownEast Maine. Unfortunately for the past few weeks it’s been telling me to purchase a membership which I haven’t had to do in the past 3+ years I’ve used this app. I finally caved yesterday and got one, but I am still unable to see the weather reports. It still tells me I need to purchase a membership. I’ve had an account for 3+ years and it won’t let me sign back in and underneath my email it says unavailable. Unfortunately I am going to have to switch to a different app because of my inability to see my reports for the upcoming days. I am however going to give it a good star review because I know I am an isolated incident. Other fisherman friends of mine use it like normal and have no issues with it what-so-ever.

FishWeather’s radar is current, easy to use and loops for a good amount of time. Zooming in on very localized locations gives excellent real time conditions and accurate predictions that are very easy to read. Wind information is a key concern in predicting waves and FishWeather makes it easy to identify wind speed predictions. I use this program planning to go out fishing and while on the water. Watching storms move around let’s me predict where I can be on the water. I always recommend FishWeather to my fishing buddies.

I would be remiss if I didn’t give this app a review (which I NEVER DO). I used the free version quite awhile before I subscribed to the “pro” version and pay every month. Not because it was all that much better but because I was impressed enough that I felt it was worth paying for. Fishweather has been very accurate in the very unpredictable Pacific Ocean for me. My only complaint is that there is still ads even though I pay $3.99 a month. Oh well. I’ll still keep it.
