If you’re looking for a photo timer app that gives you exactly what you ask for, this is it. I didn’t want any other bells and whistles, filters, etc. I just wanted a photo timer to take photos of myself. This app has been beneficial to me in that, it acts like a mini photo shoot. You can choose how many photos you want. I usually take 20 at a time because I like options. This app is much more easy to navigate than the timer on iPhones, and offers more options for timing and numbers of photos. It makes more sense for me to use than say, the iPhone burst function, as I’m trying to create a different look with each shot. This app allows for 3-10 seconds between shots so you can readjust. I really just love the simplicity of this app; it’s rare to find exactly what you’re looking for these days. I also love that there’s a gallery within the app itself, so you can send the picture as an attachment. This app is also great for capturing unique shots from a height or angle that one can’t maneuver themselves around. If this app decides to upgrade in any way, I would suggest adding photo editing tools for the pictures.

I don’t normally write reviews, but after a different app wanted me to pay money just to make my photo timer longer I came here gave desperation. This app literally gave me a photo session that outdid what I paid a professional $150 for. Rather than having only 10 seconds to ready myself and then going back and forth to take more, I had so much freedom to change my position between shots and stay right where I wanted. I kept it simple and gave myself 30 seconds between 10 shots and I ended up with some of the best photos ever! Only downside is that you can’t focus on one particular part of the photo when you tap the screen. Also, you have to actually hit the photo button and not one of the volume buttons like a regular photo. Still, it made it so easy! Definitely recommend!!!

Photo Timer+ is a basic camera timer app that works well. No bells and whistles but it does a great job at taking pictures with specific intervals between shots and lets the user set the number of shots in the photo sequence. You can also set the flash mode which is great. I also like the audible countdown timer, so I know when the shot is about to snap. I just wish the countdown voice was a lot louder. I would just love a few enhancements (I would be glad to pay significantly extra for) to make this app even more useful: I would love to see some basic camera options – for example, I would like to use the iPhone’s portrait mode but there are no options like that currently. Also, it would be great if I could say “Camera Shot” out loud to start the photo sequence. I use this app while fishing a lot, and don’t want the timer to start until I get in position with the fish in my hands.
