Everpin is a private map journal for the places you've been.
Drop a pin, import the photos that already remember where you were, and keep every city, trail, and favorite spot on one map.
PLACES Press and hold the map to drop a pin. Import geotagged photos and Everpin turns them into places, with the picture, the date, and the city. Open a place for the photo, the map, Street View, notes, the address, and the coordinates.
YOUR WORLD Countries fill in as you add places. The more pins in a country, the deeper the color, and you can choose that color. Filter the map by list, spin the globe, and check your stats: countries, cities, places, and recent visits.
LISTS Sort places into Memories, Nature, Travel, Restaurants, and lists you create. Each list has its own color.
PRIVATE Your journal syncs through your private iCloud. There is no Everpin account. Original photos can stay in your Photo Library.
ALREADY USING EVERPIN? Places saved in earlier versions are brought into the new journal.
EVERPIN PREMIUM Unlimited places and photo pins, unlimited lists, export to CSV, JSON, and GPX, backup and restore, and advanced map styles. Monthly, yearly, or lifetime. iCloud sync is included without a subscription.

I love this app. It tracks where I've been with pins on a map and allows you to tag them with pictures. I wish the timeline feature was better though. It just shows a list of places I've been in chronological order. I wish it showed an actual horizontal timeline--where events are properly proportioned according to the time elapsed in between them. The second change is that I wish you could "check in" to the same place twice instead of having to drop a new pin each time.
8.4 update is now working again for me

I have been an Everpin user for years, with years of accumulated pins from all over the world. Updates 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3 crash out a few seconds after loading on both my iPad and iPhone, both running iOS 27. I can’t find any way to reach out to the dev to report the problem other than Facebook, which appears to be unmonitored. The 8.4 update corrected the crashing problem with my large database, and the dev has added a contact form for support within the app. There is still an issue syncing pins between two devices, but the dev says that should be working with the 8.5 release.
Great foundation

This is a great foundation of an app! Now, an app that solely allows you to mark where you’ve been shouldn’t be very overly detailed anyway. This app does a great job of being minimal while still accessible. However, a small minor complaint is that whenever I am pinning something, it is hard to move it around the map. Another suggestion is that I think we should be able to pick up and relocate preexisting pins, instead of having to delete, recreate, and retitle a pin whenever we missed the location the first time.Other than that, it’s excellent! Thank you!!
Not going to update

I’ve been using this for many years since 2013 and have loved this 5star app. It’s been a pleasure using and glad it was created. Interesting. BUT after the app icon change, and all the bad disappointing reviews since mid-April, I refuse to update to the new version. I paid for this app and I don’t care but I’m not gonna pay more for it to be updated, especially when everyone says it isn’t the same. Not updating, not curious. Developers, you had a great product, enhance it, keep it that way. Don’t change it and screw over everyone for more money or tiered paid services. I’ve always wanted to see a type of connect the dots type of chronological thing and the ability to share this huge list to either website format or just a textual time line.
• Timeline is back.
• See where you’ve been by country or city.
• Edit categories from Saved Places.
• Create My Everpin Map adds a heatmap with small pins. The classic map is still there.
• Share a map with a short Everpin note and everpinmap.com.
• If you use the flat map and jump to your location, Everpin opens that way next time, near your city when location is allowed.
• Switching from the globe to the map keeps the view you were on.
• Show My Location is in Settings, and it stays off until you turn it on.
• Manage Subscription no longer shows a price that can change.
• Country colors on the map are clearer.
• Fix iCloud sync issue
Thank you for using Everpin.
