Love the concept, but…

Note: keeping the original review the same, but opinions have changed so read the response to the dev response if you want to see my new opinion.

I love the idea of making an app that is for making live activities, great idea there. What frustrates me is the fact that some features are locked behind a paywall. I get that you guys want to make some money from this, but a cheaper one-time purchase would be way more feasible an option rather than a subscription. I face the same issue with an CARROT Weather, another app that puts live activities behind a subscription. I saw this app on a video and was excited to get it mainly for the weather function, but it’s disappointing to see that i need to pay a subscription to use it.

I get what you are saying. I saw one one of your responses to another review mentioning this same thing, and I get it. I appreciate the work you have done, and at the time I didn’t realize that weather does cost money and that stuff. I’m raising my star amount realizing this, and I appreciate what you have done. Will use it time to time if I need some of the info.

Amazing

This is an amazing app! It does everything it has now well, but I’d like to see more customization such as choice with how big to display the weather (the full bar with temperature, or maybe just the icon). Some of the icons are also too big which makes them stand out noticeably on the Dynamic Island.

This app just came out so I won’t knock it too hard. I look forward to more features in the future!

Have no idea

I looked over what I could for free, which is about nothing. I do not get what your primary function is sorry to say. After reading your misleading app info in the Apple Store I was excited to open it up and see what’s under the hood. Well nothing is what I found. Maybe you need a virtual tour so people can get a better understanding of what it is you do for my device that’s going to make my day easier. I found nothing but subscription talk, and if you Dont want to try the trail right now your app seems to be extremely limited to put it nicely. I hope other people that are just made outta money will enjoy your app, but until I know what the heck the big deal is with it, and let me try the free version first to better understand it. You are deleted

Our application as stated on the App Store, in app and in the screenshots, provides customers with the ability to create their own Live Activities.

Live Activities are a new feature Apple released with iOS 16.1.

Our app has plenty of features for free, however as we stated in our app, weather data, developing an app and maintaining it is not cheap, hence we have a subscription.

However, we give customers the option to start a free trial, if you refused the trial your options would be limited.
