I’m a Kickstarter backer and got the all-in bundle. I have played Frost Punk on the Xbox many times, including all the scenarios. There has been a bit of a learning curve to adapt to the minor changes needed to translate a video game to a board game, but I cannot express more about how helpful this app is.This app allows me to focus more on the game and quickly jump to the right place for an explanation of the rules instead of thumbing through the rule book. I especially appreciate the linking between pages in the app such as actions allowing you to quickly jump to the building appendix. The board game has very high replay value even when doing the same scenario since there is multiple, randomized board starting configurations, starting rules, starting technology, starting citizen cards, and starting dusk cards. I’m definitely all-in!

This looks like it’ll help run our games a bit smoother. We’re always looking for the round reference card amongst all of the components, so having it on a phone is great. The automated weather is nice too and makes me wish the dusk and/or morning cards were also automated. The trade system should help out when we’re feeling the heat (frost?) later in the game.

Great board game. Good companion application, which performs as advertised. Being able to stream the music from the companion application to external speakers would elevate it from good to great. But this free application performs as advertised.

The company running this Kickstarter is the most unprofessional in the industry. Don’t make an iPhone app if you can’t send the soundtrack to the Apple TV. That’s what it’s for.
