Honestly one of the best TCG companion apps I’ve seen. I like that you can browse and search the entire catalog of available cards and build decks. A key feature that is missing however is Deck Testing. Even if we don’t have a computer to play against, the ability to draw a couple of hands and see the consistency of your build makes the process of finding the right combination of cards much easier. My wife suggested a tutorial simulator, where we can actually get a hands on feel for how the game should be played as a beginner. This is something that the Pokemon TCG does very well to attract new player. Someone else suggested the ability to share your collection with another account, so that my wife and I wouldn’t have to do all the same work 2 times to have our collection on each phone. Both of these features would be welcome additions to this app.

This is a good app for counting the lore you acquire during the game. The collection Dutch functions seem to be good from what I’ve experienced. The one thing that I really wish it had was the ability to scan your collection rather then the tedious task of going through each card then searching for it in the app. A scanner function would be a great upgrade to the app allowing quick import of your physical cards into your digital collection. Making it much easier to look through what you have to build a deck. Coming from the magic the gathering TCG there are several apps that I have used to track my collection with the scanner function. I had around 8k cards when I started using an app to digitally track my collection and I don’t even know how long that would have taken without a scanner app. I hope to see this implemented in a future update to the app. If this app could be more like manabox for the collection tracking functions it would be awesome. Hope it gets there.

Amazing app to get you started playing and collecting. Videos of explaining the rules and how to play along with the description of rules would be super helpful!I wish there was a way to play against friends or AI generated opponents in the app to both practice or just to be able to play the game if I don’t have my playing cards at hand.I also wish there was a way to mark only some of your cards in your collection as foiled. It seems that when you add a card to your collection you can change the card from standard to foil however when I change 1 card from standard to foil it changes my entire collection of cards to foil instead of just the one. I also have several cards both in foil and standard so it would be cool if I could add a card as standard and add another of the same card but as foil.

Overall, the app experience is quite good. It’s easy to search for and filter cards. The artwork loads very quickly and is displayed beautifully. The multiplayer lore counter is very helpful for live card games, and the learning tool was very effective.The biggest issue is that the app is on-device only. I’m nervous that if I get something happens to my phone all of the work that I put into organizing and cataloging my collection will be lost. Some way to save to iCloud storage, or manually export and import, or even allow account creation would be great.It would be nice if you could select whether or not cards are in your collection from the deck builder, or add cards to a deck from your collection. Right now, if you want to add a deck, you have to search for each card to add to your collection, then search for each card again to add it to a deck (or vice versa).It would be very nice if you could also automatically add whole pre-made starter decks to your deck collection.Also, it would be nice if each card’s series was displayed in its details. Right now you have to view your whole collection and search for the card under the series sub-headings to know which series it belongs to.
