Hushy is a messenger for conversations that should stay between the people in them.
You don't sign up with a phone number or email. You pick a name, share a one-time invite, and start talking. Your messages are encrypted on your phone before they leave it, and every connection goes through Tor. Our server passes sealed envelopes along. It can't read them, and it doesn't know who sent them.
ROOMS INSIDE EVERY CHAT
Give a chat its own rooms, like Trip, Budget or Photos. Each room has a colour, its own unread count and its own messages, so plans don't get buried under memes. Every chat starts with General.
GROUP CHATS
Start a group with the people you trust. Everyone gets an invitation and joins only if they accept. Group messages are end-to-end encrypted too, and groups get rooms as well.
CALLS
Voice and video calls, end-to-end encrypted. Calls go through Tor by default, so the person you call never sees your IP address.
CHANNELS
Post updates to many people at once. Subscribers stay anonymous, even to you.

YOUR ANONYMOUS LINK
Claim a link like hushy.id/yourname. Anyone can send you an anonymous message from their browser, without installing anything. You can reply privately, and they still don't learn who you are.
MEET PEOPLE THROUGH PEOPLE YOU TRUST
Tell your contacts what kind of person you want to meet, like a plumber, a lawyer or a running partner. A friend who knows someone can introduce you, and you only connect if both of you agree.

- Lock the app with Face ID or a separate PIN

- Shared reminders on any message. Each phone keeps its own alarm, so our server never knows

We read reports of abuse on anonymous links and remove handles that break the rules.

- Link previews are made on the sender's phone through Tor, so the person you send a link to never contacts the site.
- Hushy Browser. Open links inside Hushy through Tor, with private search and tabs that vanish when you close them. Choose where links open in Settings.
- Up to five profiles on one phone, each with its own name, contacts and link.
- Private notes, with an optional Face ID lock.
- Bots and mini-apps inside chats.
- Messages you send in a room take that room's colour.
- Messages send faster.
- Invite links now open straight into Hushy from other apps.
