Since a lot of the login and connectivity bugs have been smoothed out, it's actually a better game than I was giving it credit for being. I was also harsh before because I wasn't hitting well, but I just needed to improve how I was playing. After almost ten years of Com2üs's MLB 9 Innings and lamenting all the simmed modes and miserable manual play, this game is a breath of fresh air (and worth leaving my 134.5 ovr squad). Deck-building is actually fun thanks to all the cards with a wide variety of abilities, and with the exception of "Stolen Points" the different H2H modes are enjoyable and keep things fresh, and I actually prefer it over a live PvP experience.

Game is pretty fun but eventually got to a point where I asked myself what the point was, and I couldn’t answer it. The objective is to get a good team… and then what? There’s no social aspect to the game, there’s no leader boards, no clubs/groups, no chats. Just seems like they put out a shell of a game to try to hook people into spending $ before they inevitably get bored. Has potential but as of now it’s an empty husk of a game.Adding on, moments are just completely soulless and boring. On console, you take control of the player the moment revolves around. On this app, it’s essentially the same 4 objectives except your opponent changes. Just seems entirely pointless to have a Tony Gwynn moment except you’re using your own players and the only time you’ll see Tony Gwynn is if you hit it to left field.

This game has a lot of potential make the head to head games 3-9 and let the player choose not 1 one is to short second make it like the real game let them bat through the batting in order. And please make it actual head 2 head make the person that’s pitching face the batter that the other person‘s controlling so it’s actual head to head.

Overall the game is awesome I love the concept and the convenience to get a couple quick games in when your not trying to play on the console, or your not home. I do feel like they should add a 3 inning online mode to bring more incentive to grind for more better players. Everything is awesome so far with this game and I know it will grow but please prioritize the bugs.
After updating you may be logged out of your MLB The Show Mobile account. If this occurs, you may need to play through the onboarding again before being able to sign back in to restore progress. A fix has been implemented to prevent this in future updates.
General:
- Multiple crashes addressed to improve app stability.
- Users can now deselect a card by dragging the chosen card out of the Play slot.
- Fixed a bug where the progress button could disappear after looking in the Shop and then going to Seasons.
- Fixed issues with the navigation bar after opening packs.
- Fixed a bug where blank player icons could be selected in the Player Rank menu.
- Two-way players can now be added to the batting lineup when they are already in the pitching rotation.
- Two-way players will now properly remain in the pitcher's rotation after optimizing the rotation and having the two-way player inserted at DH.
- Improved load times when entering the Shop.
Head 2 Head:
- Trophies will now be awarded to users after their opponents' turn expires.
- Text has been added notifying the user if their opponent forfeited the minigame.
- Consolidated the “how to score” graphic in the loading screen.
Gameplay:
- Fixed additional visual bugs where the wrong player model could show when batting.
Seasons:
- Users will no longer be overcharged for stubs when speeding up a Seasons activity.
- The post-game menu now displays the correct game result after a Seasons game.
- Removed a blank box that could appear in the pause menu.
- Fixed a bug where rewards from simulated games and side quests were not always rewarded.
Moments:
- OVR and attributes downgrades will no longer be applied when they are not applicable.
- Fixed a bug where objectives were incorrectly shown as completed/failed.
Sounds Effects:
- Sound effects are now only triggered when the tab header is changed.
- Fixed a bug where sound effects would incorrectly trigger twice when entering the Player Rank menu.
Sound effects were added for the following:
- When scrolling between team starter packs while onboarding.
- Claiming XP and stubs in the Moments postgame flow.
- The Head 2 Head wheel spin, opponent found popup entering, and the opponent found screen.
- When opening text boxes.
