The home screen is now a path. Lessons run as a numbered trail, so you see the route through the course instead of a grid of cards — and the screen scrolls straight to where you left off. Grammar and discussions now have tabs of their own. Pronunciation got livelier: voices alternate between words, and slow mode is finally slow. The matching exercise no longer freezes, it can be skipped, and the pairs you match count toward every word in the round. Long-press the app icon to start a lesson, add a word, open the dictionary or set up the widget. Reward screens appear smoothly, the widget background and preview are fixed, and so are a dozen places where the app could hang or quit on its own.

Say hello to dark mode! We've been looking forward to this one, and here it is. The app follows your phone: if your device is set to dark mode, it switches here too. Prefer to choose yourself? Light and dark can be set manually in the settings. And dark comes in two shades: a soft dark and a deep black. Try them both. We've also fixed the celebration fireworks — they show up properly now. We've fixed the microphone in the exercise where you pronounce a word in context. Recording works properly again.

We've made the app nicer to use and clearer in the details. Buttons now respond with a light vibration. If you'd rather not feel it, you can turn it off in the app settings. Payments are easier to understand. If a payment doesn't go through or a promo code doesn't work, the app will tell you what happened instead of leaving you guessing. The reminder that your free trial is ending now arrives on time. Exercises are more reliable: audio stays in sync when you switch quickly between options, and the review timer shows the countdown right away. Lesson titles are now translated into every app language, making it easier to find your way around. The translations stay true to the specifics of French. We've gone through the interface translations in every language. Sections now have the same names everywhere, and the wording is more precise. You can try the free sections on any day, not just the day you install the app. Plus lots of small fixes: smoother transitions, button labels that fit, and achievement badges that appear without delay.
