I have no idea why my insurance would choose to use such a dysfunctional company let alone app for transportation needs. I’ve had people hang up on me when I’m forced to call since the app is completely unusable no matter how many “updates” they continue to release. The app tells me my phone number is already in use but won’t give me the option to login. There is only an option to create a new account, which is odd since I assume once you create an account you should have the option to login but I digress. Completely useless company, even more useless app.Edit* A couple of months ago the creators of this app finally listened and fixed the issues. It now works perfectly and I can schedule transportation at any time on this app. It’s annoying it took so long but better late than never.

The issue you describe with your phone number being flagged as already in use is something we'd like to look into directly. John was very friendly and very efficient in helping me sort through all of the issues i’ve been having with medidrive’s new system, as well as he helped me get my appointments and the transportation company that i’ve been using back scheduled to all of my appointments again, Because of all the issues i’ve had with any new transportation companies that weren’t familiar with my schedule! But again, John was very patient with me, And super friendly, and i appreciate all the help he gave me!

I’m not going to list all of the issues here, but suffice it to say this company was 100% not ready for the handoff from Transdev, (and that’s saying a lot if you know how poor Transdev was). Besides how unbelievably incompetent this app is, one of my drivers told me MediDrive fired a swath of their dispatchers and replaced them with AI to save costs, and it’s not going too well according to him.Update: new version of the app changed the design but didn’t address the functionality issues widely reported. One thing worth clearing up: we have not replaced our dispatchers with AI. Our dispatch team is made up of real people; AI handles cases that don't require human interaction, but human dispatchers are actively part of our operation.
This app is supposed to ensure reliable medical transportation, but it does the exact opposite. Nearly every scheduled trip gets canceled without viable solutions, leaving patients stranded and missing critical healthcare appointments. When you rely on non-emergency medical transport to get to doctors across Colorado Springs, Denver, and Aurora, reliability is essential. MediDrive consistently fails to deliver basic service. Completely unusable if your health depends on showing up on time.
