BROWSE JOBS
PopBookings opens right to a job board with a ton of fun, exciting event working gigs you can apply to. Some of these jobs include working events like Super Bowl, Coachella, Formula 1, and more. These jobs pay $15-50+ per hour. You pick which gig you want to apply to!
GET BOOKED
Once you are booked, we have made it super simple for you to manage your job duties and tasks on the app. This helps you do a stellar job to get good reviews and get booked more!
GPS CHECK IN/OUT
When you arrive at your gig, it is easy to let your managers know using out check in and out feature. It is a triple check system, it logs the time, location, and picture evidence that you worked.
CHAT
Keep in touch with your event managers on the app and keep all of your important communications for your gigs within the app. (Don’t worry, you can also get these chats via email and text message.)
KEEP ORGANIZED
As an event worker, PopBookings has a calendar management, document management, and agency connect tools to be able to easily manage your entire promo career on one app. (Rather than the many you might find yourself having to download!)

A little slow on loading jobs when adjusting filters but other than that it’s ok

When I adjust filters it takes a while to load. Then when I click on a job and back out the rest of the jobs disappear. It does provide a number of jobs. I’ve made some great friends and money.

The app is great for finding work and booking it quickly even if it seems like there aren’t that many agencies hiring on this platform, I’m able to find work quickly and getting set up with a profile on this platform was incredibly easy so I do appreciate that! That being said, there’s still much more room for improvement. Number 1 being the communications via the app. The user interface should be more user friendly and intuitive to navigate as to make it easy to facilitate reliable instant communication between agencies and talent. They’re should be an onboarding process by whatever agency hires you for the first time any agency hires you. They’re should be a space where required appliances or supplies for gigs should be highlighted in job postings. The way this app is organized at this time is just adding to the chaos and disorganization that many agencies already demonstrate in their booking/hiring process, so it would be better if the app supported more features and design changes that reflects a much more concise and organized approach for facilitating these bookings. For a specific example. I attempt to add confirmed bookings to my calendar and it doesn’t get added correctly. All the information gets jumbled up, scrambled. I’m not able to make use of that feature but would love it if I could actually use it. It should take the information from the booking and properly place them in the appropriate fields(address, detailed instructions for the event and scheduled time for the event) when creating a calendar event in-app.
Potentially puts you in unsafe situations

This app can put potentially put you in unsafe/unfair situations with sketchy gigs. I accepted a job clearly labeled as being “fast pay” which meant funds should be held in escrow by the app and then paid out automatically two days after the event is completed. Turns out, the event was deceptively mislabeled and I would have to invoice the company (on net 30 terms) to get paid on my own. I emailed support and eventually got a canned apology but they never addressed how the gig was blatantly and deceptively mislabeled and took no responsibility. I tried to give them another chance a while later only to have the client cancel on me THE DAY OF THE EVENT and I was given no compensation. Their support system only stipulates punishment for talent who cancels, with no recourse for bad clients. I had turned down other gigs for that job and was left with zero pay and the bad clients trying to harass me to not share my experience, texting my personal cell number. Popbookings has no support number and email replies are sluggish and scripted. This company needs to do more to protect its hardworking talent. I will not waste my time trying to work on this app again.
Can’t load any job bookings

I just got the app cause I heard about it from someone online made the account, logged in just to get hit with an infinite loading screen. When it does finish “loading” it says there’s no jobs in my area please refresh and it will do the same thing again. I went on the website and the job posting takes 15-20 minutes to load and when it does load and I apply to a job it doesn’t show up as applied. I really want this app to work but I can tell it’s going through some issues, so until it’s fixed I won’t be using.

Hello - We went a bit viral on TikTok as you mentioned in your review. This happened on the day you left this review. This led to an unexpected amount of traffic to our app which timed out the job board loading. We have since increased our server capacity and things load much better and faster now. We ask you to consider editing your review of our app. One star reviews for something that was not our fault really hurt our small business.
