Very easy. And fun!

Vintage MacGyver
Recipe sites always drag on and on before they give you the instructions. But this app gets straight to the point. And it does it smoothly and cleanly. And it’s kind of fun (love the robot chef helper!). There’s a VERY quick interview to get to started and that was fun too. I always end up cooking the same things over and over. But this has made it easy to add real mess to my repertoire. Try it!

Recipe sites always drag on and on before they give you the instructions. But this app gets straight to the point. And it does it smoothly and cleanly. And it’s kind of fun (love the robot chef helper!). There’s a VERY quick interview to get to started and that was fun too. I always end up cooking the same things over and over. I wasn’t aware that there was a free version recipe limit. I even searched in the app advertisement to see if I could find something, and I don’t see any mention of this. When you have met or exceeded the free app limits, you aren’t permitted to ask Lyle anything anymore, therefore you cannot modify your current recipes if you locate an error. The edit icon also doesn’t work to modify existing recipes. I cannot ask AI to propose a recipe should I decide to delete a recipe. I’ve deleted several in the hopes that I could open up my options, but sadly I’m unable to. It seems I’m locked into where I am now which will have me looking for a new app to use. I understand that there will be new developments, however, I do feel that there should be some dedication to the users and the functionality that they have become accustomed instead of rendering those unusable in order to sign the user to the advanced application.

Recently we did introduce a paid in-app subscription that allows users to use all of the features of the app with unlimited access. This was done to ensure we would be able to continue to support the app. Free accounts are limited on the number of recipes they can save, but we were conscious of existing users: all of your recipes that you have saved before the change remain. This is a really good app to store recipes. The recipes it comes up with are good and easy to follow. I’m not a great cook and I can use it easily. It has a lot of features that make me more excited to use it and experiment in cooking.

I just downloaded the app spent 20 min adding ingredients from my pantry. I tried to have it make recipe and it just kept spinning, didn’t come up with any results. Then I went back to my ingredients list to add a couple things I hit the clear button by accident and everything I entered was gone without a warning. Seems like it only can handle a few ingredients not everything you actually keep on hand
