New in 5.0: cloud spotting - the game is on! Climb 11 ranks, collect all 52 cloud types and play Cloud Match, a quick daily cloud quiz.
Snap the sky and Cloud Point tells you what you're looking at in seconds. Then the fun starts: collect all 52 cloud types, hunt down the rare ones and climb through the atmosphere, one sighting at a time.
IDENTIFY CLOUDS IN SECONDS
Take a photo or pick one from your library. Cloud Point's AI names each cloud type it can see, even when there are several in one shot, and shows how confident it is. Confirm what you spotted, add a note and save it to your collection.
COLLECT ALL 52
Your Cloud Collection holds 52 cloud types and sky phenomena, from everyday cumulus to rare mammatus, asperitas, noctilucent clouds and the green flash. Every type you confirm fills a space in your collection, and a rare find gets a celebration all of its own.
ASCEND THE ATMOSPHERE
Every sighting earns points that carry you up 11 ranks, from Grounded to Noctilucent Legend. Take on 9 Expeditions (like The Big Three: cumulus, stratus and cirrus) and plant a flag on your climb for each one you complete.
PLAY CLOUD MATCH
A quick 10-question quiz with four ways to play: name the cloud, find the photo, spot the odd one out and pick the higher cloud. It's the easiest way to learn the sky without studying, and your first five correct answers each day earn rank points.
A NEW CLOUD EVERY WEEK
Each week features one cloud to learn about and hunt for, with a weekly quiz to test yourself. Catch it before the week is out to fill that week in your Sky Log: 52 weeks, 52 clouds.
SHARE YOUR SKIES
Join cloud spotters around the world. Share your photos, see sightings on the map, vote on identifications, comment on each other's skies and see how you rank on the weekly leaderboard.
YOUR POCKET CLOUD ATLAS
Explore all 52 types with photos, time-lapses, altitude and rarity, the meaning behind each Latin name, and what each cloud tells you about the weather on its way.
Made for the curious: nature lovers, sky photographers, students, walkers, sailors and anyone who likes to look up.

Great app
KasumiOrHikari
I love this app how you can post photos of the clouds you saw and it can be seen by others, and you can see other peoples too. You can also like theirs. Also being able to identify clouds you see. I think it’s a very good app for clouds. But one thing I don’t like about it is because there are a lot of cloud types out there and there’s not much on here. Great app, but add more clouds.
Crashed Upon Launch

Crashed repeatedly. Had to give up. I was able to get through the nonsense questionnaire once though, figured was annoying, until I saw the PAYMENT PLEASE! 🤣 Typical of the times I suppose though. Tried a time or two agar the crash, had to go through The whole thing again, but no dice.
Small onboarding optimisations
