Know the water before the gun. TrueWind puts wind, current, tide, waves and NWS marine alerts for your race window on one screen, built for sailors and regatta racers instead of beach-goers.
RACE-DAY MODE
• Start-line bias: mark the pin and the committee boat and TrueWind tells you which end is favored, and by how many degrees
• Wind confidence: Stable, Mixed or Shifty, read from how much the forecast swings across your race
• Wind now, current at the gun and the next tide turn, in big type you can read on deck
RACE REMINDERS
• Add your weekly club race or a one-off regatta once
• A full briefing for your exact start and finish: hourly wind and gusts, a flood/ebb current curve, tide highs and lows, sea state and spring/neap strength
• Countdown notifications with a picture of the conditions, plus an alert as soon as an NWS warning covers your race
• Your races are saved to your account, so a new phone gets them back
LOCAL WIND
• Send in your club's anemometer or a nearby weather station. Once it's approved, any sailor can add it
• Apple Weather wind for any harbor, with a forecast across your race hours
• See trend, gusts and how the wind has shifted over the last 6 hours
TIDE, CURRENT & WAVE MAP
• NOAA tide stations with a live height estimate and a 30-hour curve
• Current stations with arrows that point the way the water is flowing right now
• NDBC buoys with wave height, period, wavelength and swell direction

• 5-day wind forecast with gusts, direction and an hour-by-hour view
• Race-context notes: building, easing, veering or backing

Forecasts, tides and currents come from NOAA and the National Weather Service, so coverage is US waters. Sign in with Google to get marine alerts, local wind and account backup.
