Arpeggi is an OpenSubsonic client designed with the same clean aesthetic as Apple’s apps, built for people who care about how their app feels.
Whether you're at home, in the car, or completely offline, your library is always within reach, beautifully presented and ready to play.
Gapless playback across AAC, FLAC, ALAC, and OPUS keeps your albums flowing exactly as they were meant to be heard. ReplayGain support ensures consistent volume across your entire collection, and server-side transcoding lets you balance quality and bandwidth.
Connect to multiple Subsonic servers and music folders from a single app. Arpeggi's continuous queue system keeps the music going, while Song and Artist Station modes let you explore your collection in a whole new direction.
Download your favourite albums and playlists in the background so your music is ready before you go offline. Scrobbles are cached locally with timestamps and synced when you're back online, so not a single play goes unrecorded.
Create and edit playlists directly from the app. Full CarPlay support keeps your eyes on the road. A customisable design means the experience adapts to you, not the other way around.
Built entirely in SwiftUI with a native-first approach, every interaction in Arpeggi feels at home on iOS fast, fluid, and familiar.
Requires a Subsonic or Open Subsonic compatible server.
This app is seamless and runs perfectly. Played around with a few different Subsonic clients and Arpeggi had everything. I think the best part is the total control over the app. From layout to cache size I feel the developer didn’t hide anything behind the curtain. One addition I’d like to see is download management. When I download multiple playlists all the songs are bunched together under downloads. So if I’m on the plane and I want to hit my downloaded sleep playlist I can’t.Thanks for all the hard work on this!!
Great for the most part
Optimist II
Great app, use it all of the time and it works well with Navidrome. One glaring issue I have with it though is that you can’t play your songs normally in the library. For example, if you play a song and then hit next, it doesn’t go to the next one, it just stops. So I can’t just pick a random song from my library and let the whole thing play as it’ll stop after the first song. To get around this I made my whole library one giant playlist as playlists work for this. The problem with playlists though is that you can’t scroll through them like your main library using the letters on the side. For a music app that’s pretty strange that it doesn’t just keep playing your songs. Lastly, I had some issues with playing music through CarPlay. Sometimes it would freeze or stop playing songs randomly, but for the most part it’s decent. I’m still giving it 4 stars because it’s still probably the best app for playing your self-hosted music, and it’s free.
Awesome music player

Please support aac format transcode while playing.Multi-language support such as Chinese would be very appreciated. While add a new server, the scan process is a bit long, even though skipping is allowed. Maybe an “online type directly connected to server without scanning” is more convenient.
Buggy Search Results
KnowledgeMC
Bug: Search results stop scrolling downwardArpeggi 1.5.2iOS 18.6Navidrome serverWhen I search for something and get a long list of results, scrolling works normally at first very briefly. After scrolling for just a second or two, the list gets stuck in a state where I can still scroll upward, but I can no longer scroll farther downward through the results. This happens consistently and reproduces both over my local LAN and from outside my network using Tailscale, so it doesn’t appear to be network-related.The problem was also present in Arpeggi 1.5.0. I have a screen recording showing the behavior if that would help. This bug makes the app unusable for my purposes.Love the app and I’m Looking forward to a bug fix. Thank you! 🙏
