Thanks for using Comp World! Here's what's new in this update. WHAT'S NEW • Adjudicators are now called Judges throughout the app. • Help has a new "Enter Another Section" option. If you're already entered in a competition and want to add another section, Help now takes you straight to the right place. IMPROVEMENTS • Audio feedback from your judges now tells you when a recording is still being prepared, and it appears on its own as soon as it's ready — no need to keep checking back. • Names with macrons and other accented characters now display correctly in live schedules and results. • Live schedule and results updates are lighter on your mobile data at the venue. FIXES & POLISH • The app no longer signs you out when an action simply isn't available to you, and error messages now explain what actually happened. • Help now shows the right guidance for the task you picked, instead of always describing scratching an entry. • Additional bug fixes and performance improvements

This update focuses on payments, invoices and your account details. YOUR ACCOUNT • You can now add a Contact Email in Account Details, so hosts, receipts and updates reach the address you actually use. Your sign-in email stays exactly as it is. This is especially handy if you sign in with Apple's Hide My Email. • Clear your notifications in one tap with the new "Mark all read" button. PAYMENTS & INVOICES • You can now edit the billing details on your own invoice, on any payment — ideal when the invoice needs to be in a company's name. • Entering a billing address is now a single address lookup instead of a row of separate fields, and your details are remembered for next time. • Payment options at checkout now show what each one costs compared with the cheapest option available, so the extra you'd pay is clear before you choose. • The total quoted at checkout matches what you're charged. • Bank transfer payments show the account to pay into more clearly, along with anything still outstanding on a part-paid invoice. FIXES & POLISH • Tidier layout on the billing details form and the bank transfer instructions. • Additional bug fixes and performance improvements

TIMES & TIMEZONES • Registration opening and closing times now show on your own clock, so you know exactly when to be ready — competition schedules and performance times stay on venue time, as they should. • The venue timezone label now appears reliably whenever a competition runs in a different timezone from your device. PAYMENTS • You're only offered payment methods the competition can actually take, so you won't choose one and then hit an error at checkout. • Instalment payments show the right brand for your country — Afterpay in Australia and New Zealand, Clearpay in the UK. • Checkout and your past payments now show the correct tax for the competition you're paying. REGISTRATION • If a competition's registrations are temporarily on hold, you'll see that clearly on the competition page instead of finding out part-way through signing up — and joining the wait list is still available. FIXES & POLISH • Address lookup now finds the correct city for UK venues and schools. • Additional bug fixes and performance improvements

Your competition music is now ready for performance day before you even arrive. ENHANCED AUDIO • Every song you upload is automatically enhanced: the volume is evened out so it plays at the same level as every other song, and it's converted to a high-quality format that plays reliably at the venue. • Your original upload is always kept, unchanged. Tap "Enhanced audio" beside the player to see what changed and listen to your original any time. • Enhancing happens in the background, so there's nothing to wait for. You can play and check your upload straight away, and your original file is used until the enhanced version is ready. FIXES & POLISH • Additional bug fixes and performance improvements

Spectator tickets get a little easier in this update. TICKETS • Got a discount code? Enter it when you buy spectator tickets, apply it, and see exactly what it takes off before you pay. Remove it again with a tap if you change your mind. • Your order summary now shows the discount and an updated total, so the amount you're charged is always the amount you see. • Tickets that have been voided now show clearly as voided on your ticket, so there are no surprises at the door. YOUR ACCOUNT • When our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy is updated, the app now asks you to review and accept it, tells you exactly which document changed, and links you straight to it. FIXES & POLISH • A tidier, clearer ticket purchase screen. • Additional bug fixes and performance improvements

SPECTATOR TICKETS Buying a ticket to come and watch now happens right in the app. • Buy tickets for any competition that's selling them, and pay by card or Afterpay • Your tickets live under Account > My Tickets, each with its own QR code to show at the door • Download the PDF version any time, or find it in your confirmation email • The screen brightens automatically while a ticket is open, so it scans first time • On multi-day competitions, filter by the day you're attending — and see at a glance whether a ticket covers every day or just one of them AT THE DOOR • Helping out at a competition? Hosts can invite you to scan tickets from your own phone — accept the invite in the app and you're ready to go ENTERING COMPETITIONS • Competitions with no entry fee now skip payment entirely — just confirm your registration • Competitor entry lists stay private until the schedule is published, unless the host chooses to share them earlier Additional bug fixes and performance improvements
