more Genuinely this app is incredible. As long as the creator continues to listen to student feedback & add more map layers by releasing polls in some way so that they are adding the most relevant/popular/urgent layers, I definitely see myself switching from all the previous decentralized apps to this one. I appreciate that everything is free right now — I wish it could stay that way forever because that is a huge part of the appeal as most of us are broke college students. I understand why that might not be feasible in the long run bc the creator can’t work for free but it’s really really helpful to have access to all of this information in one place without having to worry about unlocking bus lines with a premium membership etc. Thank you for all your hard work we REALLY appreciate it.

Love the ui—super smooth. Lots of info. If bus schedules are added, this would truly become a super app (I like to plan ahead and from what I can tell, there is no look ahead feature for buses).

just found out about this app and i think it’s so neat! it’s well organized and easy to follow along with, so i recommend it for everybody. the only thing i’d recommend is giving more variety of resources offered (although i’m not really sure how that’d work). cool idea, so thanks for sharing!

The idea for this kind of an app has existed for a while, but ben’s execution beats everything that exists so far by a mile. He’s also very receptive to feedback. Highly recommend!

This update brings a major UI revamp to BearTrak! The interface has been carefully polished for user experience.
- The bottom panel stays at the bottom of the screen when you scroll, making it unobtrusive and intuitive.
- With a generally smaller bottom panel, many core components and like the button's detection and map's adjustment have been rewritten to provide the best possible UI feel. Buttons will no longer incorrectly detect touches, and the map will always center content correctly.
- A light and dark mode toggle has been added to the settings menu for color scheme customization!
- Better data presentation: Taller sheets display more at a glance, gym capacity headcounts and totals are now included, and key interfaces have been updated such as gym map markers and the dining menu switcher.
