Hello all :) I'ts been a little while, hasn't it ? I’ve been working on life and other projects, but this game still has my heart, so alongside everything else, I’ve been adding in new things, making this update. ### New Journal System - Players can now create as many journal pages as they please. - Each page can either use a pre-defined prompt (written by Naveen ofc), or choose to title them yourself. - Each page also lets you pick a mood to reflect how you’re feeling that day. ### Design Updates - Sol got a whole new look! the old one was a bit too thin and didn’t scale well. The new look is softer, warmer, and fits her mother-like persona alot better. - Neptune now has cool waterfall-like visual effects flowing through its body. - Jupiter added her tail! idk why she never had one to begin with. ### New Character Animations - Gave all the characters some bone-based animations. Everyone feels more alive and expressive now. ### Inventory/Bag - Added a juicy pop-in/out effect when you open/close the bag. Super satisfying. ### Colour Customisation System - Added a system allowing you to change the colours of your collected items. - This system also works with the letters in the mailbox system (more on that later). ### Redesigned the Report Card - New look + new approach to stat tracking. ### Polished some minigames **Aphrodite’s Habit Minigame** - New sound effects, animations, and icons. - Habits now have unique icons, helping to visually sort what’s “good” or “bad” in a more interactive way. **Neptune’s Self-Love Minigame** - Tried giving it more visual feedback; - Input box flashes correct/incorrect colours. - Added a progress indicator - Neptune starts out as a chaotic splash, but slowly takes shape as you make positive progress with your thoughts (symbolism). **Atlas’ Meditation Minigame** - Also tried giving it more visual feedback; - Now there’s a calming Atlas illustration, filling up as you meditate. - Also added an illustrated breathing guide, showing you how to inhale through the nose, and exhale through the mouth. It's pretty cute ### Spotlight System - Whenever you interact with something (a character, your inventory, the mailbox), the background now darkens to keep focus on what matters. ### Settings Menu - Reworked the look and layout of settings, tidying everything up. ### Information Screen - Slightly improved the look of it too with a cleaner layout and animated text. ### Sol's Mood System - Before venting, Sol now gently asks how you’re feeling. - You’ll see a bunch of illustrated emotions to choose from — low-pressure way to express/identify your current emotional status. *now, last but not least...* ### THE NEW WORLD MAILBOX SYSTEM !!! my favourite things I’ve added. a system to ask questions to the strangers of our world, and to read their thoughts. - Envelopes = Questions, Letters = Answers. - You (the player) can *send letters* (that you write) to envelopes (that I write). It’s a lil wholesome community system for sharing and connecting with each other. - I've made the letters customisable using different shapes, colours, and Unity's TextMeshPro tool. Boldness, text color, size, alignment, opacity etc, make your message truly unique like you. - Envelopes come with their own unique themes; such as heart-shaped letters for love-related topics, or “note” style letters for "messages to strangers". another update fixing issues with the save system... smh. the game should now be completely playable from start to finish without any soft-locking issues. *: notes can now be collected from the beginning of the game; you used to have to introduce yourself to Sol first. !: old corrupted/duplicated items are now automatically removed from inventory. !: Uncollected notes are now saved PROPERLY. !: notes will now be respawned if they've been previously lost due to corruption.

squashed some bugs related to the save system. Players reported their inventory items duplicating, or the collecting notes mechanic not acting as intended. this update should fix those issues, but let me know if that isn't true!
