Some small tweaks today to make your Alpha Shows App experience a little better. - "Update Contact Details" for Customers now says exactly what it means: don't send us your current info, give us the new person's details instead. - Mail no longer marks messages you've already read as unread. They'll stay read, just like they should. If your unread count looks off, mark everything as read once and it should stay that way, only updating when a genuinely new message or comment comes through.

Some Fixinglings We tidied up a few things behind the curtain! - Auditioning for an Alpha Shows production? We made it much clearer that you need your own auditioner profile, not a performer login. Sneak in the wrong door and we will kindly send you back to register properly. - The Alpha Shop background was looking a little bare on iOS 18. We dressed it up properly. - Devices without a notch were having a rough time. Wonky layouts in the game, Curriculum Downloads playing up, and Messages refusing to open at all. All sorted now. - Our Newsletter was quietly signing people up to the wrong list. Oops. Fixed. - A sneaky little bug was loading the wrong board on Level 2. Gone. - Fan Mail is now only visible to our Australian and USA friends, since it is only relevant for those regions. Spotted something that breaks the magic? Customer Portal: - It turns out our app was a little too attached to nostalgia. If you'd used it last year to find your booking, it would happily keep showing you that same cached version forever, blissfully ignoring the fact that a whole new season had arrived. We've had a word with it. It now checks in with the server properly and updates to reflect your current booking. - We've also made it possible to pick exactly which booking you want to see, whether that's a past one for the memories or, if you've got more than one show on the calendar, any of your upcoming bookings too. Auditions! - This one's a big deal. We've built a full auditioning guide, packed with everything you need to feel prepared and confident walking in, plus in-app registration so you can sort the admin without leaving the app. - You can now annotate and highlight your audition monologues directly in the app, so all your notes and inspiration live in one place instead of scattered across three notebooks and a napkin. - And because every good audition song deserves proper practice, there's a custom music player built specifically to help you learn the songs you're auditioning with. Character Chat: - We've refined how our characters talk about themselves, leaning into the decades of scripts and stories we've carefully crafted rather than any confusing talk of artificial intelligence. These characters are built from storytelling, not sorcery. Performer Portal: - The performer portal now has a Run Sheet generator built straight from your script. - You can also see exactly which character you've been cast as in your Personnel record. • Refactored the Customer Portal to resolve cases where a 'white screen' could appear after automatic login. The portal should now load consistently and reliably when accessing bookings, and show a loading booking screen whilst it loads the booking from cache or the database. • Completely overhauled the Tour Schedule for Performers, separating out the tour data to only download the tour list at first, and then download more details when opening the detail view. • Made other improvements to the performance and reliability of the Tour Schedule. Data now loads faster and is properly cached to persistent disk storage, including scripts, music, and other resources. • Fixed an issue where content would re-download unnecessarily after relaunching the app, thinking it was fresh data when it was something already in the cache • Enhanced Character Messaging to be less 'unavailable' and respond a little faster

We’ve also added new marketing resources, including branding guidelines, logos, and show titles. • Performer Portal Upgrade: Performers can now seamlessly switch between current and upcoming tours. The app now caches both sets of data, making access to scripts and music smoother and faster — with fewer conflicts or delays. • QuickBooks Pay Slip Integration: A direct link to your pay slips is now available in Performer Resources, opening directly in the QuickBooks Workforce app for easy access.

Added a new feature "Curriculum Downloads" making it easier for teachers and venue managers to access downloads without requiring their account number, aligning with what's available on our website. Those who book a show can still use their account number to manage the specifics of their booking and get access to insurance or WWCC in a secure area.
