V2.0.4 brings a redesigned standalone inspection workflow and expanded defect reporting compared with V1.0.8. INSPECTIONS • Rebuilt opening screen and inspection interface, with permanent WalkAround Checks branding. • Updated guided checklist covering the vehicle exterior, cab, trailer and load. • Record OK, Defect or N/A for every check. • Add trailer details, odometer readings in kilometres or miles, and additional inspection notes. • Save unfinished checks as drafts and continue later. • Validation prompts for incomplete checks, required details and defect descriptions. DEFECTS AND RECTIFICATION • Add a description and camera or photo-library image to each defect. • Set defect priority to Needs attention or Do not drive. • Clear warnings for unresolved safety-critical defects. • New Defects Rectified option records the date and time selected. • Inspection history previews show rectified defects and their timestamps. • Add dated repair notes while retaining the original defect record. INSPECTION HISTORY • Tap or swipe right to edit a saved inspection. • Swipe left to reveal a red Delete button, with confirmation before removal. • See open and recorded defect counts in each history preview. • Previous inspection records are preserved in a dedicated history section. REPORTS AND SETTINGS • Redesigned individual inspection PDF reports, including defect evidence and rectification details. • New date-range PDF export for multiple inspections. • View, share and print reports. • WalkAround Checks report logo bundled with the app and used by default, including for previous inspection reports. • Upload a company logo in Settings to replace the default report image, or restore WalkAround Checks branding. • Expanded settings for driver contacts, company details, vehicle defaults and odometer units. The app works independently, with no account or separate Truckers app required.
