This app is a testament to how great apps can be! Simple, less size, no tracking / subscription, and so on.. Widgets for this app are also great! I really wish this app is recommended in App Store or more easily findable on App Store! Came across this app on X (Twitter). Feedback: I’m surprised that I can’t search for this App by name and find it easily in the search results. Is it because I already installed it? Still, it should show up in the results and have the Open button instead of Download, right? All recommendations are for other apps that are similar sounding (like Lyft) or that have the name left as a part of the title.

Thank you so much! We cannot control how App Store promotes the app and we are not going to fight on marketing with dodgy tricks to appear in search results easier. Hopefully the app will still grow by amazing users like you that just installs it and enjoy the app.PS: try the new update!
Really cool app, but buggy most of the time.

I really love the widgets to keep track of the progress of hours, days, months etc. They’re minimal and really useful. However, it seems that every time the app is updated, a new bug is introduced almost without fail. As a dev myself, I know this can sometimes be hard to catch as new features are added, but as an user my experience has been frustrating as have to keep dealing with the bugs and hope it’s fixed in the next update. I hope you can consider adding some kind of bug report feature so we can let you know when something is not quite right. As for everything else, keep it up. I truly believe you have something special here.
Developer Response
Hey there, Sorry to hear that! Can you please let me know what is broken? So I can fix it. If is the widgets in tinted mode, that is fixed already with the last update. Thanks!
Feature suggestion

I made the mistake of paying for the full version of this app before even checking out all the features. I’d rather not request a refund because the app itself looks neat, just like everyone says. May I suggest a widget where you can set minutes for a certain period? Example: how much time you have between now and a specific time of the day? I wanted to use this app for my son who has ADHD and has a hard time thinking about the passage of time/how much time is left for a task. thanks!
Developer Response
Hi there,Thanks for your message and for supporting the app, even if it wasn’t exactly what you expected at first.I appreciate the suggestion. The app is designed more for big-picture time visualization rather than short task timers, but I totally see how your use case makes sense, especially for helping someone understand time more intuitively.I’ll keep this in mind as I explore new ways to expand the app while keeping its core focus. Thanks again for the kind words.
Neat app with good looking widgets

I like this app overall and paid to unlock the extra features. My only gripe is that one of the widgets counting down the month looks deceptively like a calendar but the dots don’t line up with the days, they’re just a countdown. If there was a way to just offset the dots for the start of the month/have a calendar view that’d be awesome and the app would be perfect. I’ve been using the widget on my Home Screen for a couple weeks and thought it was a calendar the whole time until I looked really closely after being confused that the end of this month wasn’t on a Monday like it looks on the widget.
Developer Response
Thanks for the thoughtful review and for supporting the app! You’re right that the month widget can resemble a calendar at first glance. The dots are meant to visualize the passing of time in a different way, not to represent actual weekdays. The idea behind Left is to step away from traditional calendars and show time from another perspective. That said, I understand how the similarity could be confusing, and I’ll keep your suggestion in mind for future refinements. Really glad to hear you’ve been enjoying the widgets overall.
Left – 2026.1.1
Thank you for using Left and starting 2026 with intention. This update focuses on small but meaningful improvements, refinements, and bug fixes across the app:
• Dynamic Time widget now integrates calendar events, allowing bars to be colored based on events throughout the day.
• Time Since widget now can have a photo as background.
• Time Since counters now support elapsed reminders. Receive a notification when a specified number of days has passed since the counter was last reset.
• Time Ahead dates can now enable a final countdown, showing a Live Activity during the last four hours before a date ends.
• Added the option to completely hide Life-related views, including the Life grid and the You section.
• Fixed inconsistencies between dot indicators in the app and in widgets.
• Fixed an issue where Time Since notifications could display an incorrect streak.
• The You view now correctly displays weeks, months, or years left based on your selection in Settings.
FROM PREVIOUS UPDATE:
• Now, when you tap on a habit in the Habits Overview widget, it opens that habit directly in the app.
• The Habits Overview widget is now available in a large size, allowing you to track up to eight habits.
• The Habit widget now allows you to display the habit image as a background.
• The small Habit widget now allows you to complete a habit directly from the widget.
• Fixed a bug in the Dynamic Time widget where the end of the year was displayed as February due to a leap year issue.
• Fixed an issue where special dates with photos in the Ahead section could not be tapped near the special dates.
As always, thank you for your feedback and for helping shape Left.
